The scene opens to Colossus, standing in some dark building. He has the RISE WORLD TITLE over his shoulder. Next to him is his manager and mouthpiece, Dick Trickle. Dick has a wicked smile on his face.
Dick: I told you! I told all of you, didn’t I tell ya! Sure effin did! My MONSTER is a GOD AMONGST MEN. He was destined to be World Heavyweight Champion and by god he did it quicker than I imagined. I guess Spencer getting a case of the limber tail was not expected, but sure welcomed! It paved the road. Here we are with Colossus as the WORLD CHAMPION and that good for nothing is the Star of the Month. Just goes to show you how vapid and clueless our owner is. And contrary to popular belief, dumb plus dumb does not always equal hot, as we see here sometimes it equals hot mess. It’s not our fault that Trent Killjoy looks like Chuckie at a transgender slumber party and your Elevate top contender looks like the type of woman who needs an ion bracelet and a Himalayan salt lamp. Did you try to exclusively air people uglier than you?
I digress.
Colossus ate them all, and he will continue to eat. We didn’t make the trip to Arkansas because we don’t need to. Colossus has proven his point. He is the best on that roster and he will continue to eat through anyone you throw his way. So we are going to sit back, watch the show spiral down the toilet without their world champion, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll decide to eat again next week.
Until then, thank you, fuck you, bye!’
Bud Walton Arena
Fayetteville, Arkansas
St. James: Hello Ladies and Gentleman, and welcome to RISE! We’re here in Fayetteville, Arkansas and we’re rolling towards the show’s FIRST Pay Per View Event!
Hansley: And what a weird couple of week’s we’ve had, Fletch. This roster looks nothing like it did at Revival, and as we saw last week, we’ve got a new World Champion!
London: Speaking of world champions, the OCW World Champ SYNN is supposed to be here tonight!
St. James: RISE has been on fire and tonight is no exception, we’ve got a hell of a show for you all—
RISE General Manager Jolie Vexx steps out onto the ramp way. The crowd (mostly the men) cheer for this. She has a mic in her hand and is holding a clipboard.
VEXX: FAYETTEVILLE! I am so glad to be back! I have been a little under the weather lately, and my big sister decided she wanted to make the Spencer Adams announcement last week, so I sat back and watched the show from Florida. Let me tell you, it's not the same! As much as we have the best commentary team in the business, being here and feeling this energy you guys bring every week–there is nothing like it. This is only our 4th show in existence and already I feel like RISE is among the top wrestling shows on television!
Hansley: Does she have a point here or is it Fan Appreciation Night and nobody told us?
London: Every night is fan appreciation night!
VEXX: But let's get down to business so we can get the action going! First, I am proud to announce that on September 17th in Washington DC, RISE is going to have its first brand exclusive Pay Per View event……
She turns to the tron, revealing the logo.
VEXX: UPRISE!
The crowd cheers.
VEXX: At this event, BOTH titles WILL be defended. The current Elevate Champion Benjamin Maddox–should he survive this broadcast with the title–will be taking on the Elevate number One Contender, Valkyrie Venom! And the Rise WORLD title will be defended as well as Colossus defends his newly one title against Trent Killjoy!
St. James: WOW! Two big Main Events already!
Hansley: It looks like she may not be done!
VEXX: Also, the TAG TEAM titles will be on the line. APEX comes to RISE to defend them, but I am not going to disclose who just yet! You’ll have to buy the Pay Per View to find that out!
Hansley: Capitalism at its finest!
London: She’s a smart woman Tyler, just like her sister!
VEXX: Lastly, as you may have seen last week, OCW World Champion SYNN is here tonight and she has some big news for everyone! I will let her get into the details but let’s just say that the OCW WORLD CHAMPION is in a generous mood, to say the least!
She smiles and waves at the crowd as the theme music for RISE hits and she turns and walks back to the locker rooms.
St. James: Wow! What a bombshell of an announcement, and we still have an entire show full of action for you!
Hansley: Lets see those Thursday Night casual commentators top this!
London: Be nice guys, they're probably listening!
St. James: We'll be back right after this! COMMERCIAL BREAK!
Drums pound in synch with grinding guitars as “Bonehead" assaults the fans while the arena is blanketed in darkness while at six seconds in, a saxophone begins squealing a prolonged note. At thirteen seconds, while a spotlight suddenly pierces the darkness, casting its light on the entrace curtain, the vocalist begins whooping and screaming. BRADDOCK explodes through the curtain and marches for the ring.
Marlena Sanchez: “Making his way to the ring! He is five feet, ten inches tall and tips the scales at two hundred and fifty-one pounds and hails from Stockton, California. He! Is! BRADDOCK!!!!
St. James: This guy is big, bad, and tough as nails. Unbeaten so far, he even went head to head with the number one contender on Anarchy last week. He doesn't care, nothing bothers him, and he'd rather knock you out than ask you out!
Hansley: But don't underestimate his opponent. Zephyr is an enigma, and you never know what you're gonna get with one of those!
"They really fucked me over.
Like they really fucked me over
So now I've got the other people telling me
that they wanna repossess my car
And, you know, I just had to say to them,
"Look, I'm sorry, but I don't drive a car"
Ha-ha-ha"
A large black tank like vehicle with spikes protruding from the wheels and sides makes it's way down the ramp. Both Zephyr Draven and Nox Vonn Anna can be seen atop the tank as it slowly moves down toward the ring. Marlena Sanchez: And his opponent, from Vancouver Canada, Zephyr Draven!
Once reaching the ring, Zephyr helps Nox over the top rope then follows shortly behind. The two stand in the ring with their hands over their heads in fists as fire blasts from the corners of the ring. Nox smacks the back of Zephry's shoulder before turning toward his opponent saying "boo," then exiting the ring.
London: What a cool entrance!
Hansley: Starting off with a bang. See what I did there?
St. James: Two staples to the future of this show doing battle here, and I for one am excited for it!
As the opening bell rang out, Zephyr Draven, known for his agility and aggressive style, and Braddock, a powerhouse with unmatched strength, circled each other in the center of the ring. The two competitors locked eyes, and it was clear that neither was willing to give an inch. The crowd erupted with chants of their favorite wrestlers' names.
"LETS GO BRADDOCK, ZEPHYR D!"
The match began with a classic collar-and-elbow tie-up, with Braddock's sheer size and strength giving him the early advantage. He pushed Draven into the corner and delivered a series of bone-crushing forearm smashes to Draven's chest. The impact echoed throughout the arena, and the crowd winced in sympathy for the fellow brawler.
He bounces out of the corner with a few wobbly steps.
Draven managed to duck under a clothesline attempt from Braddock and bounced off the ropes, springboarding into a stunning flying crossbody that took Braddock by surprise. The crowd roared their approval as Draven scrambled for a quick pin, but Braddock powered out with a force that sent Draven sprawling across the ring.
London: Whoa! Early pin attempt there from Zeph!
St. James: A war of attrition does not favor Draven. He needs to try to steal one here!
As the match progressed, the back-and-forth nature of the contest became evident. Draven relied on his agility, executing a series of lightning-fast kicks and acrobatic moves that kept Braddock on his toes. But Braddock's power was undeniable. He lifted Draven into the air for a devastating spinebuster, shaking the ring with the impact.
Draven, showing incredible resilience, fought back with everything he had. He countered a suplex attempt from Braddock into a DDT that left both men down on the mat, gasping for breath. The crowd's cheers reached a fever pitch as both wrestlers struggled to their feet.
Braddock, now visibly frustrated, unleashed a barrage of heavy punches and kicks on Draven, driving him into the corner once again. But as he charged for a corner splash, Draven managed to dodge at the last second, and Braddock crashed chest-first into the turnbuckle. Seizing the opportunity, Draven ascended the ropes and executed a breathtaking 450-degree splash, connecting perfectly.
St. James: That is the dangerous part about Draven. He is a mauler, for sure, but hit agility and athleticism are off the charts. He really can do it all, and he will!
The crowd counted along as the referee's hand slapped the mat for the pinfall: "One! Two!" But at the last possible moment, Braddock kicked out, stunning the audience with his resilience to add to his mass.
The final moments of the match were a whirlwind of near falls and heart-stopping maneuvers. Draven attempted his signature move, the "Draven Drop," a Spike Piledriver, but Braddock countered with a slippery slide over, and drove a knee to the gut of Draven, knocking his air clean out of his body. Braddock then hoisted Draven onto his shoulders for a ring shaking power bomb, the Braddock Bomb, if you will.
St. James: It seems like the end may be near for Draven!
Braddock is setting him up. Draven uses the ropes to get himself to his feet.
MANSFIELD'S CURSE! The meathook clothesline damn near took Zephyr's head off!
He hooks the leg, sticking his tongue between his missing front teeth.
The referee counted: "One! Two! Three!"
MARLENA SANCHEZ: Here is your winner, by pinfall............BRRAAAADOOOOCKKKKK!!!!
St. James: He did it! Braddock defeats Asylum member Zephyr Draven and his unbeaten streak continues here!
Hansley: Hold on.......we've got company!
"Love the way you Hate me" by Like a Storm hits just as BRADDOCK pops up off the mat and is about to send a nasty right hook to the face of Zephyr. BRADDOCK stops in his tracks and turns ready to take on both Nox and Zephyr but as Nox Von Anna is walking down the ramp she pulls out a mic.
Nox: Hold up, I'm not out here to double team you.
BRADDOCK looks back at Zephyr who is breathing quickly with his hands on his hips. Just as Nox approaches the ropes Zephyr walks past BRADDOCK and locks eyes with him before Zephyr sits on the middle rope and pulls them apart for Nox. Nox enters the ring with a smirk on her face while she walks back and forth a couple of times.
Nox: You've impressed me with your match against my brother, BRADDOCK and I'm not usually easy to impress. Earlier, Zephyr and I had a conversation about you and after that match we would like to extend an invitation to you in joining Asylum.
BRADDOCK points at Zephyr and starts to yell about how he accused him of being on steroids. Zephyr starts to say something when Nox steps between the two.
Nox: Ok, I get it you have every right to be pissed about what he said but I'm sure he's sorry that he said it now, right?
Nox looks back at Zephyr who is staring down BRADDOCK stone faced. Nox lightly taps Zephyr's chest with the back of her hand and utters "right?" before turning back toward BRADDOCK.
Nox: See, he's sorry. We all know how heated things can get before a match. So what do you say? Do you want to join us? I'll throw in a tee shirt. 2x?
Nox pulls a black shirt with "ASYLUM" printed plainly on the front and on the back are both her's and Zephyr's faces. She waves the shirt around a bit going "eh, ehhh?" BRADDOCK doesn't look impressed.
Nox: You too can have your face on these babies! Still not interested? Look, We could be of mutual use to each other. Think about it, we could piss off anyone we wanted to and get away with it! We all three have the muscle, we all three have the power, who could stop the three of us from getting what we want?
Nox taps her elbow on BRADDOCK's arm and he gives her a sly grin. Nox takes a few steps back before putting her hands up.
Nox: I don't swing that way, I'm a part of the deal as a partner in the ring not the bedroom. So what do you say BRADDOCK? The more wins we get the bigger bucks they'll offer.
Nox rubs her fingers together and winks at BRADDOCK before reaching out her hand toward him. BRADDOCK looks down at it then over at Zephyr. He points at Zephyr saying something inaudible before shaking Nox's hand. Nox nods her head proudly before grabbing Zephyr's hand and pulling their hands up into the air as "Savages" by Catch your Breath plays.
St. James: Did we just see what I think we just saw?!
Hansley: Sure did! Asylum got their hired gun! A little muscle never hurt anyone!
St. James: I shudder to think what shenanigans those three have up their sleeves!
Thursday, August 24th 8 pm.
"Big announcements, big announcements. Yes! Contracts and stipulations, requirements, rules of engagement! Yes! I'll come out there tonight........and I am going to give RISE the shot in the arm it needs. YES! The fix. People will do anything for a fix!
You see......
I see........
They see.........
You'll see......
Plural."
She laughs to herself as she walks off the screen.
St. James: Something is wrong with that girl.....

BOOM!
Two pyros drop from either side of the video wall, as the two women come out carrying smoke guns firing them off, as “Morning After Dark” begins playing. They place the guns down, then run to either side of the stage, and begin dancing. They turn and meet in the middle looking at each other for the moment, and then turn to face the crowd, revealing Emma Wexler and Zenia Hobbs. The two turn and begin walking down the ramp as Zenia begins fist pumping as she walked.
When the cats come out, the bats come out to play, yeah
(In the morning after)
The dawn is here, be gone, be on your way, yeah
(In the morning after)
When the cats come out, the bats come out to play, yeah
(In the morning after)
The dawn is here, be gone, be on your way, yeah
(In the morning after dark)
The two make it to the bottom of the ramp, and Zenia climbs up onto the ring apron, as Emma dives between her legs landing in position in the middle of the ring. Zenia comes through the ropes behind her after circling to get the crowd hyped up. She then walks up behind Emma, swaying her hips back and forth, then stopping posing. The ring announcer looks at the two.
MARLENA SANCHEZ: “From Los Angeles, California, accompanied by Zenia Hobbs, this is Emma Wexler!!”
Emma then gets up from the mat, and heads to the far corner where she poses for the crowd, giggling a bit. Zenia does the same, then drops to ringside, where Emma backed up into the corner watching and waiting.
London: These ladies are new here to OCW but already so much promise. And what a cool entrance, that's two ina row!
Of Wolf and Man starts to play and Adam comes to the ramp. He looks around and then howls like a wolf and the fans howl back. he comes down the aisle and bumps fists with the fans. He then enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckles and howls again and again the fans howl back.
London: I like him, too! I like this program a lot!
Hansley: I like non bias broadcasting.
The bell rang, and the match was underway. Gatner and Wexler circled each other cautiously, each sizing up their opponent. The crowd's roar reverberated through the arena, creating an electric atmosphere.
Emma Wexler, with a size disadvantage, made the first move. She would have to beat the big man with quickness. She lunged at Gatner, attempting to take him down with a quick dropkick, but Gatner displayed his veteran instincts by sidestepping her just in time. Wexler crashed hard onto the canvas, and the crowd gasped in surprise.
St. James: I guess he was ready for that one.
Hansley: Of course he was, he was a veteran, and Emma telegraphed it. He read it like a special ed textbook!
Seizing the opportunity, Gatner pounced. He grabbed Wexler's leg, aiming to capitalize on her momentary vulnerability. With precision, he applied a figure-four leglock, wrenching Wexler's knee and causing her to grimace in pain. The crowd's cheers intensified as Gatner cranked up the pressure.
Emma is in a lot of pain, and reaching for the ropes frantically. With sheer determination, she crawled toward the ropes, reaching out with every ounce of strength. The fans watched in suspense as she inched closer, fingertips grazing the bottom rope. At the last possible moment, Wexler managed to grab the rope, forcing Gatner to release the hold.
The crowd erupted in applause for Wexler's resilience, but Gatner showed no signs of letting up. He pulled Wexler to her feet and executed a textbook snap suplex, sending her crashing down to the mat. Gatner followed it up with a series of ground-and-pound strikes, keeping Wexler on the defensive.
Wexler, though battered, wasn't ready to give up. She fought back with a fierce determination, countering one of Gatner's punches with a lightning-fast arm drag. The audience cheered as she gained some momentum. Wexler performed a stunning standing moonsault, landing squarely on Gatner's chest for a pinfall attempt, but Gatner managed to kick out at two.
St. James: Near fall there for Wex!
Hansley: She's holding her own so far!
Zenia is on the outside, slapping the ring and encouraging her.
The match continued with both competitors giving it their all. Wexler showcased her high-flying abilities, leaping off the top rope with a breathtaking crossbody. Gatner, however, demonstrated his ring awareness by rolling through and nearly pinning Wexler. The near fall had the crowd on the edge of their seats.
As the minutes ticked by, fatigue began to set in for both wrestlers. Gatner attempted his signature move, "Howl at the moon!" a modified crossface that had tapped out countless opponents over the years. He locked it in, wrenching back on Wexler's neck, but she refused to submit. With a surge of adrenaline, she clawed her way to the ropes, breaking the hold. London: The veteran presence is almost new much for the comer. Gatner is very experienced, a technician in that ring!
The match had taken a toll on both competitors, but the end was drawing near. Gatner, determined to secure the victory, hoisted Wexler onto his shoulders, signaling for his finisher, the "Wolf slam of Albuquerque". As he prepared to execute the move, Wexler summoned every ounce of strength left in her and countered with a jaw-dropping hurricanrana, sending Gatner crashing to the mat.
The arena erupted in cheers for Wexler's incredible reversal, and she seized the opportunity. Climbing to the top turnbuckle, she launched herself into the air, executing a flawless shooting star press. The crowd counted along with the referee, "One! Two!" It looked like an upset victory was in the making.
St. James: THAT CLOSE for the new comer!
Hansley: Zenia hasn't had to get involved yet, but she may very soon!
But in a moment of sheer determination, Gatner managed to kick out just before the three-count, shocking the audience. Gatner's resiliency was on full display, and the fans were in awe of the incredible match unfolding before them.
With both wrestlers pushing their limits, it was Gatner's experience that ultimately made the difference. He capitalized on a slight misstep by Wexler, countering her attempted springboard maneuver into a devastating powerbomb. The impact left Wexler sprawled on the mat, dazed and unable to defend herself.
Gatner seized the moment, applying his " howl at the moon" once again, this time with even more intensity. Wexler fought valiantly, but the pain was too much to bear. With no escape in sight, she reluctantly tapped out, signaling her submission.
Marlena Sanchez: And your winner by Submission........"Alpha Wolf", ADAM GATNER
The bell rang, and the arena erupted in a standing ovation. Adam Gatner had emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against the resilient Emma Wexler. Both competitors lay exhausted on the canvas, a testament to the incredible athleticism and heart on display in this memorable match.
As Gatner stood tall, the fans showered him with applause, acknowledging not only his victory but also the incredible effort and heart shown by Emma Wexler. He extends his hand, offering to shake hers, but she scowls at him and rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos as Zenia walks her up the ramp, leaving Gatner high and dry.
COMMERCIAL BREAK!
#1 CONTENDER vs. #1 CONTENDER Trent is the #1 contender for the RISE World Title. Valkyrie is the #1 Contender for the Elevate Title. Each will get their respective title shots at UPRISE, but this match is for bragging rights. Who is the #1 #1 contender?
St. James: This one is gonna be good! The two number one contenders for the Rise belts do battle here. With the Pay Per View looming, one of these two looks to get some momentum going into the Nation's Capital!
The lights go down in the arena, before blue light floods the room, at the top of the entrance stands Trent Killjoy. The first cords of "Welcome to the Chaos" fills the arena with sound and fog rolls onto the stage at Trent's feet.
Marlena Sanchez: This is a contender versus contender match. Introducing first, the number one contender for the Rise World Heavyweight Championship.........from Atlantic City, he is the Midnight Massacre, TRENT KILLJOY!!!"
Trent makes his way down the ramp, not at a super slow pace, but taking his time. He slides under the bottom rope, pausing for a moment before running across the ring and posing on the turnbuckle, before jumping down and sliding down into the corner St. James: Trent has been through hell and back. He has been climbing that mountain and has been a staple here since day one. Does anyone remember that match at Revival? Of course you do, because it may still be match of the year to date!
Hansley: Yes, Fletch, but that was a losing effort. They all have been losing efforts, for the most part. Explain to me how a number one contender has more losses than wins?
London: Are you always this cynical?
Hansley: I'm a realist, Paris. I call what I see.
Venom by Eminem blares in the area as steam fills the entrance. Valkyrie Venom enters through a mix of steam and sparks to a chorus of boos from attending wrestling fans. Sarcastically she pretends to wipe a tear from her eye before flicking it and showing off her middle finger with a smile. She begins walking down the ramp with a cocky strut while chewing obnoxiously on a piece of gum. Once she reaches the ring she jumps onto the apron and pulls herself into the ring using the ropes. After entering the ring she jumps on the top rope kissing both her middle fingers before holding them high with a smile on her face. She jumps down and walks over to her corner of the ring before laying across the ropes like a hammock until the match begins.
St. James: She really seems indifferent about this match. Like Trent and the threat he poses doesn't matter to her.
Hansley: It doesn't. She has been the sparkplug on RISE recently and actually has a WINNING record.
London: Here he goes again with this.
The crowd at the wrestling arena erupted in a thunderous cheer as the lights dimmed, announcing the beginning of the much-anticipated match. Trent Killjoy, the charismatic underdog, stepped into the ring with a fiery determination burning in his eyes. On the other side, Valkyrie Venom, the fierce and relentless powerhouse, glided in with an air of confidence that made even the bravest tremble.
The crowd's excitement was palpable as the bell rang, signifying the start of the clash between these two formidable competitors. Trent and Valkyrie circled each other, their muscles flexing with anticipation. The moment their bodies clashed, it was like two freight trains colliding, sending shockwaves throughout the entire arena.
Trent dodged Valkyrie's initial barrage of strikes with a nimbleness that belied his size. He retaliated with a series of quick punches and kicks, but Valkyrie, with her impenetrable defenses, brushed them off effortlessly. The match was proving to be a test of strength, agility, and strategy.
Valkyrie threw Trent against the ropes with a staggering force, causing him to rebound towards her, hoping to catch him off-guard. However, Trent used the ropes to his advantage, seamlessly maneuvering through the air like a flying squirrel, evading Valkyrie's attempt to intercept him.
St. James: These two are so evenly matched. They are both strong in the same areas.
Hansley: It is going to come down to who can last longer, and Trent has has trouble closing matches out.
The crowd gasped in awe as Trent somersaulted over Valkyrie, landing gracefully behind her. In a swift motion, he managed to secure her in a headlock, employing his technical prowess to immobilize the behemoth standing before him. For a moment, it seemed Trent had the upper hand.
But Valkyrie was not one to be underestimated. With a mighty heave, she lifted Trent off the ground and slammed him down with a thunderous powerbomb. The impact rattled the ring, shaking the very foundation beneath them. The crowd winced in sympathy, marveling at the sheer strength of Valkyrie.
The match raged on, each of them trading blows and high-flying maneuvers that left the crowd in awe. Trent unleashed a devastating dropkick, but Valkyrie countered with a spine-shattering suplex. The energy in the arena was electric, the air crackling with anticipation.
As the battle raged, Trent's determination only grew stronger. He knew that to defeat Valkyrie, he had to dig deep within himself and unleash a hidden power he had yet to tap into. Summoning his inner drive, Trent leaped high into the air, performing an unbelievable moonsault that connected perfectly with Valkyrie's body.
The crowd erupted in applause as Trent scrambled to his feet, seizing the opportunity to go for the pinfall. The referee dropped to the mat, his hand slamming the canvas for the first count. Valkyrie's eyes widened with shocked disbelief as the second count followed. The crowd held their breath collectively, witnessing history in the making.
But Valkyrie, with a strength born of sheer determination, kicked out just in the nick of time, shattering Trent's hopes of victory.
Hansley: Yet again, Trent has an opponent where he wants them, and can't seal the deal.
St. James: He is in the drivers seat here. Nothing to lose, but you know damn well this means a whole hell of a lot more to him than her.
The match was far from over, and both competitors knew it. The intensity in their eyes mirrored the fire burning within their souls.
Trent, nursing a bruised ego, rose to his feet. His body ached, but his spirit was undeterred. With a renewed determination, he lunged at Valkyrie, their bodies colliding with the force of a meteor striking the Earth. The ring seemingly shook under their combined might.
The minutes turned into an eternity as the two wrestlers locked in a stalemate struggle. It was a battle of sheer will and unwavering resilience. Trent refused to back down, his heart pounding against his chest. Valkyrie matched him move for move, challenging him to give his all. The two locked in a test of not only strength but sheer will power. Finally, Trent broke off and whipped her into the corner after being being backwards like the Matrix.
The audience was on their feet, their cheers and screams filling every corner of the arena. The atmosphere crackled with excitement as the match reached its climax. Trent, fueled by an unquenchable desire to win, tapped into the depths of his willpower and delivered a superkick so devastating, it reverberated through Valkyrie's entire frame.
Valkyrie, dazed and disoriented, stumbled backward, unable to regain her balance. Sensing victory within his grasp, Trent soared through the air like an avenging angel, executing his signature move, the Swanton Bomb, with flawless precision. The crowd erupted into a deafening roar as Valkyrie crashed onto the mat, defeated.
He hooks the leg.

Trent is seething now. He picks her up by the hair and goes for a hard right. She blocks it and delivers her own. He connects with a left. Right. Left. Right.
Blow after blow, they exchanged thunderous strikes that echoed throughout the arena. Trent unleashed a powerful punch, sending Valkyrie reeling backward. But she quickly retaliated, delivering a devastating roundhouse kick that caught him off guard. The audience was on the edge of their seats, absorbed in the exhilarating spectacle.
As the match continued, the momentum swung back and forth, each competitor refusing to relent. Trent and Valkyrie executed intricate maneuvers, flipping and slamming each other to the mat with remarkable precision. The crowd gasped and roared with every move.
Valkyrie, known for her acrobatic skill, soared through the air with a breathtaking moonsault. The audience held their breaths as she connected with Trent's chest, momentarily stunning him. But Trent, fueled by the determination to win, mustered enough strength to shoulder her off and launched himself into a blistering comeback.
The sound of the crowd's anticipation reached a fever pitch as Trent executed a jaw-dropping suplex, causing Valkyrie's body to crash onto the mat, shaking it with impact. The referee slid in, his hand poised to start the count.
One!
Two!
NO!!!!!!
St. James: WHAT DOES HE HAVE TO DO TO KEEP VALKYRIE DOWN?!!!!!
Valkyrie kicked out! Her resilience surprised Trent, his eyes widening in disbelief. The crowd erupted into a roar. Valkyrie's unwavering determination drew some cheers from the parade of boos. She was not about to go down without a fight.
As if ignited by Valkyrie's defiance, Trent sprang back to his feet, a newfound fire burning within him. He approached his opponent with renewed intensity, positioning himself for his signature move, "Killjoy".
Trent charged at Valkyrie, his arm extended for the decisive blow. But, with a lightning-fast reflex, Valkyrie dodged his attack, narrowly evading the devastating move. The audience collectively gasped, impressed by her agility.
Valkyrie seized the opportunity, capitalizing on Trent's momentary vulnerability. She crouched low and executed a lightning-quick sweep, knocking Trent's legs out from under him. The mat absorbed the thud as Trent crashed onto the canvas.
Taking advantage of Trent's momentary confusion, Valkyrie gracefully scaled the turnbuckle, ready to deliver her finishing move, the Venomous Splash. The crowd was on their feet, their energy surging as they anticipated her aerial assault.
Valkyrie soared through the air, her body spinning gracefully. But Trent, driven by sheer instinct, somehow managed to roll out of harm's way just in the nick of time. Valkyrie crashed into the canvas, the impact causing the ring to shake once again.
St. James: Good god what impact! Killjoy is on another level tonight!
Hansley: And he still hasn't put her away!
London: What a match though! Only on RISE can you get this kinda action!
The crowd erupted in astonishment, cheering for Trent's resilience. He mustered every ounce of strength left in his body, crawling towards Valkyrie, his eyes locked on victory. The referee watched closely, ready to administer the final count.
One!
Two!
But just as the referee's hand was about to hit the mat for the third and final count, Valkyrie summoned an impressive surge of energy. With a sudden burst of strength, she powered out of Trent's grasp, refusing to accept defeat.
Both Trent and Valkyrie rose slowly, their fatigue apparent. The feverish atmosphere in the arena only heightened as the stakes became increasingly higher. They locked eyes, each knowing that a single move could determine the winner.
The cheers of the crowd propelled them forward as they exchanged rapid-fire strikes once more. Trent's punches were met with Valkyrie's fierce kicks, the air filled with the symphony of their determined battle. The wrestling ring seemed to shake, trembling beneath the weight of their struggle.
It was Trent who managed to seize the upper hand, delivering a flurry of devastating blows that left Valkyrie weakened and vulnerable. Sensing victory within his reach, he climbs to the top rope. He pumps the crowd up before jumping.
St. James: Timber!!!!
Twisted Death!!!!!
The crowd held their breath as Trent brought Valkyrie crashing down onto the canvas, the sheer force of the impact reverberating throughout the entire arena.
The coffin drop connects!
The referee swiftly slid into position, ready to make the decisive three-count.
One!
Two!
Three!
The crowd erupted into unbridled jubilation as Trent was declared the winner by pinfall.
The crowd exploded in jubilation, chanting Trent's name as he basked in the glory of his hard-fought triumph. Valkyrie, though defeated, lay on the mat with a shred of admiration in her eyes, knowing she had faced an opponent who had pushed her to her limits.
Trent staggered to his feet, his body battered and bruised, but his soul shining with triumph. He extended a hand to Valkyrie, a gesture of respect and acknowledgment of her incredible skill. Surprisingly, Valkyrie accepted the hand, mustering enough strength to stand alongside Trent and unite in their shared accomplishment.
St. James: YOU WERE SAYING TYLER?! Killyjoy did it! He survived a very game Valkyrie Venom and now these two BOTH go into the Pay Per View with momentum!
Hansley: Even a blind squirrel finds a nut, Fletch!
St. James: And look at this sportsmanship!
COMING NEXT RISE
15 Minute Time Limit
A kaleidoscope of colors flicker and flash over the arena as “Hip Hop Hooray” echoes throughout. Skittlez makes his way onto the entrance ramp, dancing and pumping up the crowd.
Marlena Sanches: This match is set for one fall, with a 15 minute time limit! It is for the OCW RISE ELEVATE TITLE.......Introducing first, the challenge, from Lewiston, Maine … weighing in at two hundred thirty five pounds …. SKITTLEZ!
Skittlez charges down to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and takes his place in the center of the ring to a mixture of cheers and also “wtf’s” as he stands there proudly. The hip hop anthem still filling the ears of those in attendance as Skittlez takes his baseball cap and turns it around to be on backwards. He then crosses his arms ever so reminiscent of Grandmaster B.
St. James: This guy threw morals out the window a long time ago.
London: He's a pig, if you ask me.
Hansley: An undefeated pig! I love the guy!
London/St. James: You would!
Everybody's Fool Cover By Halocene blasts over the PA systems as Benjamin Maddox walks out on stage and looks at the fans and then looks up at the sky and shakes it off as many emotions run through his body he walks down the ramp receiving a mixed reaction. Destiny is by his side, staring a whole through Skittlez. He does a humping motion with his hips, and she looks disgusted! He then does a running front flip into the ring and then runs over to the nearest turnbuckle and panders to the crowd before awaiting the start of the matchup in his corner.
Marlena Sanchez: And his opponent, accompanied by Destiny Michaels, from Brooklyn, New York, he is the ELEVATE CHAMPION.........BENJAMIN MADDOX!
15:00
As the ring announcer introduced the competitors, the audience's excitement reached a fever pitch. Maddox, a well-built athlete with a determined look in his eyes, emerged from the backstage area, proudly displaying the RISE Elevate Title around his waist. He was a fan favorite, and tonight, not only was he defending his championship, but he was also fighting for the honor of his girlfriend, Destiny Michaels.
Destiny stood at ringside, a mix of concern and determination on her face. Skittlez had been harassing her for weeks, making lewd gestures and pinning her inappropriately during confrontations. Tonight, she hoped Maddox would put an end to Skittlez's antics once and for all.
Skittlez, on the other hand, made his entrance to a chorus of boos. He wore an eccentric, colorful costume that matched his ring name, and his demeanor was flamboyant and unpredictable. He approached Destiny, blowing her a kiss and causing her to cringe in disgust.
The bell rang, and the match was underway. Maddox and Skittlez circled each other in the ring, the tension palpable. Destiny watched with bated breath as her boyfriend prepared to defend not only his title but her honor.
The opening moments of the match were intense, with neither competitor gaining a clear advantage. Maddox's technical prowess clashed with Skittlez's unpredictable style, creating a unique dynamic in the ring. Skittlez attempted to play mind games, taunting Maddox with suggestive gestures and comments. Maddox, however, remained focused on the task at hand.
Maddox took control with a series of well-executed suplexes and ground-based submissions, attempting to wear down Skittlez. He applied a tight headlock, trying to drain Skittlez's energy. But Skittlez, with his unorthodox approach, countered by sensationally licking Maddox's face, momentarily shocking both his opponent and the crowd.
This bizarre maneuver seemed to light a fire in Maddox. He retaliated with a fierce clothesline that sent Skittlez sprawling. Destiny cheered from ringside, hoping to see Skittlez get what he deserved. 12:00
St. James: Skittlez, morals aside, is no joke inside that ring. He is a dangerous competitor who has as good a shot as any to become the Elevate champion here!
London: Ugh. If he does, does that mean we have to see him every week?
The match continued to be hard-fought, with both wrestlers showcasing their skills. Maddox executed a textbook German suplex, nearly getting a three-count. Skittlez responded with a jaw-dropping springboard moonsault, barely missing Maddox as he rolled out of the way just in time.
As the minutes ticked away, Skittlez grew increasingly frustrated. He taunted Destiny, making explicit gestures in her direction, which only fueled Maddox's determination to put an end to this disrespectful behavior. Maddox attempted his finishing move, the Maddabuster but Skittlez narrowly escaped, rolling out of the ring.
Destiny couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed a microphone from ringside and shouted,"Enough is enough, Skittlez! Show some respect!"
Skittlez, incensed by Destiny's words, slid back into the ring, intent on continuing his antics. But Maddox seized the opportunity, grabbing Skittlez and hoisting him onto his shoulders. With a deafening roar from the crowd, Maddox executed a double arm DDT with unmatched power, driving Skittlez into the canvas.
He hooks a leg.

Skittlez kicks out.
9:00
Destiny's heart raced as the referee counted: "One! Two!" But as the referee's hand was about to hit the mat for the third time, Skittlez miraculously kicked out, keeping the match alive.
The clock was ticking, and under 9 minutes remained in the 15-minute time limit. Maddox, determined to end this with a decisive victory, climbed the ropes, ready to execute a high-risk maneuver. Destiny's eyes widened in worry as Maddox balanced on the top turnbuckle.
Skittlez, sensing an opportunity, climbed up to meet him. The two competitors traded blows on the top rope, each trying to gain the upper hand. Destiny watched with bated breath, fearing the outcome of this perilous exchange.
Skittlez managed to shove Maddox off the top rope, causing him to crash hard onto the mat. Destiny gasped in shock as Skittlez took a leap of faith, executing a breathtaking frog splash from the top rope.
He hooks the leg.

3---NO! Benjamin kicked out at the last second!
Destiny has a huge sigh of relief and slaps the apron to encourage him.
Skittlez, sensing that victory was slipping away, resorted to his most underhanded tactics. He aimed a low blow at Benjamin as he stood, facing his partner, a move not just meant to incapacitate but to humiliate. The ref was busy yelling at Destiny to get away from the ring and didn't see it.
Pain shot through Benjamin's body, but he refused to let it break him. With a surge of adrenaline, he fought through the agony and delivered a devastating kick to Skittlez's jaw, sending him sprawling to the mat.
6:00
Both men get to their feet and tie up. The two wrestlers locked in a fierce tie-up, their bodies straining against each other, muscles flexing with every desperate move. The crowd erupted into chants, their voices mingling in a symphony of excitement. Benjamin and Skittlez fought with a fervor born from months of brewing animosity, their combined strength sending shockwaves through the ring.
As the minutes ticked away, neither man relented. Benjamin, with measured precision, executed every move, his athleticism and training shining through. Skittlez, however, was a master manipulator of the ring, relying on underhanded tactics and downright sleazy pinning attempts. Destiny's blood boiled at the sight, her fists clenched in indignation. Benjamin had fought hard to put an end to Skittlez's advances, to protect her honor, and she would be damned if she let the scoundrel prevail.
As the match progressed, Skittlez's tactics took a darker turn. He taunted Destiny Michaels, making inappropriate gestures and remarks that crossed the line. Maddox's eyes blazed with anger as he saw the discomfort on Destiny's face. Determined to put an end to Skittlez's antics, Maddox unleashed a series of punishing strikes and grapples, each executed with a purpose.
Maddox's aggression didn't deter Skittlez, who continued to play mind games. He used his agility to slip out of Maddox's grasp and deliver a series of acrobatic moves that left the crowd in awe. However, Maddox's determination was unwavering. He reversed Skittlez's attacks into a sequence of brutal suplexes, each one driving the air out of Skittlez's lungs.
With Destiny watching on, Skittlez grew increasingly frustrated. He attempted to gain an advantage by utilizing the ropes for leverage during pinfall attempts, much to the referee's chagrin. Destiny's frustration mirrored Maddox's as she saw Skittlez's disregard for fair play.
The match reached its midpoint, and both competitors were visibly fatigued. Maddox's focus remained unwavering as he executed a flawless enzuigiri, staggering Skittlez. Seizing the moment, Maddox ascended the turnbuckle and soared through the air with a picture-perfect missile dropkick, sending Skittlez crashing to the mat.
The crowd's excitement was palpable as Maddox signaled for his finishing move, the "Pain Killer". Destiny clutched her fists, hoping that Maddox could put an end to Skittlez's disrespectful behavior. Maddox hoisted Skittlez onto the turnbuckle, preparing to execute the maneuver that had brought him victory on numerous occasions.
But Skittlez, fueled by desperation, managed to wriggle free from Maddox's grip.
SUPLEX OFF THE TOP ROPE!!!!!!
St. James: My god what impact! The entire building shook!
He gets back up, and Maddox swings blindly, going for a lariat. Skittlez ducks, and he rolls through and caught Maddox off guard with a sudden roll-up pin, nearly stealing the victory. Maddox kicked out just in time, the close call serving as a reminder of Skittlez's unpredictability.
2:00
The match's final minutes were a flurry of near-falls and submission attempts, as both competitors pushed their limits. Maddox locked Skittlez in the "Elevate Lock," his signature submission hold, but Skittlez managed to crawl to the ropes, forcing a rope break.
As the clock ticked down, the tension reached its peak. Destiny Michaels watched anxiously, knowing that the honor of her relationship and Maddox's championship were on the line.
Maddox, however, was determined to land pain killer. He whips Skittlez back into the corner and runs in, crashing into him and causing him to slump.
In the final minutes of the match, Skittlez managed to shove Maddox off the top rope, causing him to crash hard onto the mat. Destiny gasped in shock as Skittlez took a leap of faith, executing a breathtaking frog splash from the top rope.
But destiny had other plans. With the clock ticking down, she leaped onto the apron, distracting Skittlez just long enough for Maddox to recover. Maddox quickly climbed back into the ring, surprising Skittlez with a thunderous PAIN KILLER!
What she failed to realize was Skittlez, in an act of desperation, hit his Taste The Rainbow knockout punch.......while in mid air. Both men hit the canvas limp. Hansley: Time is running out here! There is only 30 seconds left!
St. James: If its a draw, the champ retains!
The crowd is chanting for Benjamin to pin him. Destiny couldn't hold back her excitement any longer. She jumped to her feet, her voice echoing through the arena. "Pin him, Benjamin! Finish it!"
Benjamin, hardly able to catch his breath, crawled towards Skittlez, his arm draped across his opponent's chest. The referee dropped to the mat, beginning the count.
"One!" The crowd held its breath, knowing this pinfall would prove not just Benjamin's victory but a triumph over Skittlez's disrespectful behavior.
"Two!" The arena trembled with anticipation, the atmosphere electric with the unspoken desire for justice.
Suddenly, a sense of dread washed over Destiny as the buzzer sounded.
The refs hand counted three, but he waves it off. It is after the buzzer. Destiny is in the ring now, and both are protesting that it was a three count. The ref is talking to Marlena on the side.
St. James: What is the call here?!
Hansley: The buzzer clearly sounded, he didn't get the pin in time!
Marlena brings the mic to her mouth:
Marlena Sanchez: The referee counted to three, but the three count fell AFTER the timer went off. Therefore, it is a time-limit draw. Therefore, due to draw rules, STILL the Elevate Champion.................BENJAMIN MADDOX!!!
St. James: That CANT be the outcome they wanted. Yes, Ben keeps the title but there's no vindication in this!!!!!!
Hansley: He HAS to make the count quicker, the ref is to blame!
London: This is far from over guys, you know Destiny and Michael aren't going to let this go!
Destiny and Ben embrace in the ring as Skittlez, wincing, backs up the ramp.
St. James: Stay tuned, we hear from the OCW World Champion, NEXT!
LAST COMMERCIAL BREAK
When the OCW camera's come back to the arena, Chaz Theophel is in the ring with a mic.
Chaz: Ladies and Gentleman, it my pleasure to introduce to you the OCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION..........SYNNNNNNNNNNNN
The lights in the arena go blue as Yen hits.
St. James: And there she is! The OCW World Heavy Champion is LIVE on RISE!!!!!!!
Hansley: God this chick is creepy!
London: I love it!
She walks slowly down to the ring, and when she gets in she stares at Chaz. She eventually fixes the lapel on his suit before patting him on the head. He continues.
Chaz: Synn.......First of all, welcome to RISE! You told us earlier that you had big news. We don't have an awful lot of time left, but we wanted to give you this slot to tell us what that big news is.
Synn brings a hand to her mouth and giggles.
Chaz: Is….is something funny?
Synn is handed a mic by the ring crew as signaling for one.
She brings it to her mouth, the wicked grin still on her face.
SYNN: Have you ever wanted to better yourself, Chaz? To shoot for the stars, to attain glory, to be immortal?
Chaz looks at her with his head cocked.
Chaz: I mean, isn’t that everyone’s goal, to be better?
SYNN: Well……..I face Konstatine this week on Anarchy, and then I go on to the Pay Per View for the blue brand where it is certain I will have to defend the belt.
Chaz: Yes, that….uh…..that is usually how Pay Per Views work.
SYNN shushes him, bringing a finger to his lips.
SYNN: According to the good people at Lenscrafters, I have been pointed out some teensy weensy print that perhaps I overlooked. Good play, Brit! What it says is that I HAVE to defend this title on RISE at LEAST once every 60 days.
St. James: WOW! That IS huge news!!!!
Hansley: The champ of champs is coming here?!
Chaz: So you are here to tell us that you will be defending that title on Ri—
Another finger to his lips.
Her words were almost a slither.
SYNN: What I am going to do………..is issue an open challenge. Anybody there in the back that wants a piece of me or this title……..next week…….show your face, step out into the light, because my contractual obligations have made it so that I get to bring a little pain to Sunday nights!
London: Amazing!!! SYNN IS GOING TO COMPETE, LIVE, NEXT WEEK!
St. James: FOR THE OCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE, MIND YOU!
Her lip was curling a bit into a snarl when the arena lights went dim again.
St. James: What the HELL!
Braddock walks down the ramp, his eyes fixed on the woman within it. He speed walks down the ramp and into the ring, snatching the mic from Chaz.
BRADDOCK: FORGET NEXT WEEK…….LETS DO IT, RIGHT F’N NOW!!!!!!
The crowd roars as Synn cocks her head from side to side.
St. James: There is no referee out here……there’s no official match……..we don’t have the airtime for a match……
He yells at SYNN….. “NOW! GIVE ME THAT BELT!!”
Synn continues to tilt her head, snarling her lip.
St. James: Uh oh……
Synn snaps her head to one side and then the other. Zephyr Draven and Nox Von Anna come through the crowd and jump the barricade.
Hansley: Synn’s here alone. There’s no Brooke Blakely to help her!
St. James: This isn’t good. The OCW champ is trapped like a rat!
Asylum enters the ring, and SYNN puts her hands up in a fighting stance. Braddock steps towards her and SYNN, like a cornered animal, attacks.
St. James: Here we go!
The three of them begin to brawl 3-on-1, and the champ holds her own for a bit, but eventually the numbers get the best of her. Nox and Zephyr hold SYNN by the arms as Braddock gets ready to hit her with her own title belt when suddenly………
DONNIE HARRIS COMES THROUGH THE CROWD! He hops the barricade. Braddock hauls off and decks SYNN with the belt but is immediately tackled by Donnie.
LOU THEZ PRESS
Donnie is hammering right hands down on Braddock when Asylum pulls him off! They begin to double team Donnie in the corner. Hammering away on Donnie, Braddock joins the fold. All three begin to take out Donnie when SYNN flips up.
The crowd roars.
Synn pulls Zephyr off the pile.
BRAM STOKER!!!!
St. James: BRAM STOKER FROM THE DEMON QUEEN! It’s 2 on2 now! It’s a fair fight now Asylum!
Nox turns towards SYnn and fires off some right hands as Donnie battles out of the corner. The two trade back and forths with their opponents before Donnie hits a German and SYNN with an atomic drop!
They turn around……..
London: Uh oh!
Synn realizes who is in the ring with her. Donnie and SYNN are nose to nose!
St. James: The OCW WORLD CHAMP and the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER on ANARCHY ARE NOSE TO NOSE! WE’RE OUTTA TIME!
The broadcast cuts as the two stand in the center of the ring.
