Carley Black and her longtime friend, Ariana Decker had a rough go of it. They had lost every match they had been in and it had gotten to them. They needed to do something quick and as the camera catches them, at the mall, getting new clothes, Carley, still sporting her glasses, but no braces, as she had recently gotten them off, speaks up.
“You know, over our time here has led us to realize one thing we’re not. Something we’ve become and that doesn’t sit well with us. Ariana, you have the correct wording and better verbal skills that me. Take it”
Carley’s braces had come off a few days before this shopping trip and Ariana was about to get contacts, as was Carley. Both were morphing into even more beautiful women and now, Ariana, like Carley, had blonde hair, as show of unity to her best friend and because Ariana was originally a blonde too and was now back there again.
“We came in as nerdy cheerleaders. That got us nowhere except being called losers. We were called the laughing stocks of OCW. We are neither of these things. And so, we are here, getting makeovers. Carley’s braces are already gone. Her glasses as well as mine are about to be. But that’s not all, is it Car?”
The camera then zooms in on the two, and sees their new tanned skins and more muscled bodies. They had been working out more and had even stopped in between to tan. They were looking amazing even if both, for now, still had their glasses on. But that would soon change.
“No. We’re sick of being laughed at. We’re sick of being made to look like talentless hacks every single week. Personally, I’m sick of being some hyperactive nerd that can’t lay off the Red Bull. It’s time to get serious about this. And to do that, we get rid of everything from our pasts.”
Carley pointed out. She was looking forward to the new attitude and look being complete. But holding it back was the glasses both girls had on. But again, that would soon be dealt with, possibly by the end of this very promo.
“I couldn’t agree more, Carley. No more cheerleaders. No more glasses and braces. Well, maybe glasses from time to time, depending on our outfits. No more ridiculous cheering. No more pandering to you sheep and no more seeking your approval or that of the people in the locker room.”
Ariana stated. She had driven her point home and was now leaving it to Carley to continue hers. These two had been friends since kindergarten. They grew up together and even dated for a few months after Carley came out. But it was Carley who helped Ariana realize that she liked guys and that dating girls wasn’t for her. Carley was not offended by this choice, after all.
“And that starts now. We don’t need any approvals from anyone but ourselves, Ari’s boyfriend, and my loving girlfriend. We need none of that from any of you. We’ve seen what you snakes said about us on social media. And we’re about to show you everything we’re about.”
It was once again Ariana’s turn to speak and she still had tons to say on the matter. Usually she spoke more than Carley, as Carley was usually the shy and quiet one. But she needed her best friend to break out of that phase. To her, Carley was a sister. She wanted to help her any way she could in the matter.
“And now, looks wise, we are perfect. And yes, we are the most superficial bitches you’ll ever meet. But what are you going to do about it? Not a damn thing. We’re grown up. There is to be no more fun loving cheerleaders. We’re more focused than ever. Our losing streak ends tonight.”
Carley would now add one last thought as she removed her glasses and cued for Ariana to do the same thing. She would then speak one more time as the viewing audience wondered what the meaning of this was.
“Alongside a career. We don’t care who we’re facing. We’re ending this team’s career. What career they may have had. Time to show you just why we’re career killers. And most of all, it’s time to show we are….
The two then stand back to back as they both speak at the same time.
“PERFECT!”
Carley then reveals a match, which she uses to light a fire in a barrel.
“This is a fire in a barrel.”
She then tosses her cheer outfit in, removing it, revealing new all black and pink ring gear. Ariana does the same, revealing the same color scheme but a bit more revealing than her friend.
“These outfits represent a past that we don’t want to remember. These outfits and the glasses we have in our hands represent distractions.”
They then throw their uniforms in the fire in a barrel. Ariana then speaks up as the fire rages on.
“This is a distraction, in a fire in a barrel. Any questions, morons?”
The scene ends with the two girls throwing their glasses on the ground and stomping on them until they shatter into tiny, unviewable pieces. The two then cackle as Ariana reveals a kendo stick in what looks to be a Samurai sword case as the scene fades off.
