-A sci-fi wonderland is spread out over the scene, as the camera takes the time to pan around the interior of the space station, seemingly crawling with all manner of science fiction spliced with the supernatural, as Imps and zombies and possessed humans and all the rest of DOOM’s roster of nasties and ne’er-do-wells meander through the corridors and rooms within this enclosed space.
The creatures closest to a shuttle bay react as a single spaceship settles into position, docking into the bay. A couple of the more stupid and more aggressive beasts find themselves turned into plasma-based ash as the engines backfire, as if controlled to do so. The smarter creatures, roaming around the bay and wisely staying out of the way, wait impatiently as the shuttle finishes its docking procedures, the shuttle door opening from the rear as it becomes a ramp.
Bursting forth from the back of the shuttle is a single man, clad in green armor, stopping only to take shots at the possessed enemies and zombies, the Imps throwing fireballs in the man’s direction. Judging from the way the man was moving, it was some facsimile of DoomGuy, the DOOM Slayer, whatever you call him, as he moved from cover to cover, slipping past projectiles and swapping guns with peak efficiency, smashing through an Imp after stunning the demon with a well-placed shotgun blast.
The marine takes a hit from a projectile, the attack looking like it comes from a laser, and he quickly takes cover as the Hellrazer takes another shot; a rocket fired from another gun is quick to put the demon down. Moving quickly, the marine finds a portal projector, a Gore Nest, and quickly tears its heart out, causing a desperate, pained screech as it closes the portal and explodes in a harmless display of viscera and decimation.
Once everything calmed down, the marine took his helmet off, and he hung onto it, revealing Donnie Harris hiding underneath the armor. A few splashes of human and demon blood stains his outfit and the surface of the shotgun he held onto, as he takes stock of his surroundings.-

Whew, this is a rush. Now, the best part is that no one knows if this is truly VR or what, but yeah, let’s face it: it’s VR. However, even with little to no stakes involved with where I am and what I’m doing, this is what I think of the threat of our current Rebellion champion, Mr. Untamed Dickwad... I mean Demon, Damage.
-Donnie ducks away from a charging Pinky, a demon bearing an armored front half of its body; he swaps weapons, to the Super Shotgun, and fires point black into the beast’s kidneys. Donnie quickly reloads and fires again, the creature “gibbing” and falling in pieces on the metal floor.-

Cute story you wanna tell there, big man, with the rituals and the Satanism and the blood sacrifice, but it’s nothing an experienced wrestling crowd hasn’t heard before. It’s nothing that video games haven’t done before either, and the best part is that no one fucking cares. No one cares what you have to say, no one cares about what you’re doing because it’s wrestling and you’re not actually sacrificing people to Mammon otherwise known as Manny, and no one cares because no one wants to cheer for a stooge like a guy who goes by Damage when he’s more damaged than he lets on.
-As Donnie says this, he looks around before placing the helmet back on his head. The heads-up display kicks back to life, a camera on the inside of the helmet showing Donnie’s face akin to RDJ in Iron Man when he talks to Jarvis.-
)Donnie Harris(
Okay, thought I had more ammo... Oh well.
-Donnie moves into the next room, met immediately by an Imp; out comes the Chainsaw, down goes the Imp in halves, here comes the ammo as it explodes out from the Imp’s body.-
)Donnie Harris(
Anyway, where was I?
-Donnie charges into the room, attacking everything that moves, especially now that he’s restocked on ammunition for his weapons. A point blank shot from the Super Shotgun stuns a Revenant, which is quickly dispatched by a Glory Kill.-
)Donnie Harris(
Right, Damage, and these Revenants, they remind me of you: menacing until faced with its weakness. In its case, a double-barrelled shotgun blast in the face; for you, I’ll be taking my time with you, because you are very easily distracted. After all, as soon as what’s-his-face... Colossus’ manager started trying to free himself, you got turned around. Every time, OW fucker... every time he so much as jingled his chain, you waddled your big ass over and tried to be all scary and...
-Donnie takes a deep breath and switches to his heavy machine gun, aiming squarely at the Hell Knight trying to rush him. Thankfully, with the assistance from his Micro Missiles attachment, the big demonic brute goes down with chunks of muscle dangling from his bones due to the barely visible sinew.-
)Donnie Harris(
All scary and shit, but Dick Trickle isn’t much more than a big mouth that you needed Blaze’s help to spook, considering the bad guy thought a good guy would rescue him, but let’s face it: John Blaze isn’t that good a guy. After all, he lost to you. I don’t care about you two being all buddy-buddy and bullshit like that, because he still lost, and you guys just went backstage and had your fun with the poor guy. Hopefully he was able to shit properly with the assplay you guys made him endure... Enjoy? You can never be too sure with a little man like him managing a guy like Colossus: emphasis on “sus”.
-Donnie moves into the next room, looking side to side before returning to the room he had just been in, in order to collect some items and find any secrets.-
)Donnie Harris(
Just consider yourself fortunate that I was busier legitimately punching people in amateur MMA when you were OCW world champion, bub. Consider yourself lucky that Britlyn isn’t putting your shiny new title up for grabs.
-Donnie finds a breakable wall, so he throws a grenade at it, causing the wall to crumble; behind it sits a replica of the EPW Rebellion Championship. Donnie collects it and, as it shows on the HUD, it enters his inventory as a collectible. He dusts his hands off as his ammo belt essentially fully restocks, and the Rebellion title is now around his waist as a cosmetic change to the character’s appearance.-
)Donnie Harris(
Because it’s no secret to know that I wouldn’t hesitate to take it from you, nor would it be out of the realm of possibility to strip it off you like I’ve stripped the flesh off these damn demons with a few shots from my weapons.
-Donnie moves to the next room to progress the game forward, and it’s another room with a Gore Nest, as multiple demons of multiple types begin to spawn in. Unfortunately for the demons, a red glowing orb is closer to Donnie than they are, and he grabs the powerup. Its name: Berserk; Donnie puts his weapon away and his hands glow with infernal power, a red energy surrounding him as he starts to rush every demon in the room, all of them going down with a single punch or kick, making Saitama look like a standard human being with no power whatsoever.-
)Donnie Harris(
Oh yeah, now that’s the stuff.
-Donnie laughs to himself as he smacks demon after demon around without mercy or remorse. They all just die in various visceral ways.-
)Donnie Harris(
Now this is what real damage is, and it’s not some man who wants to play up the idea of a true demonic entity. Yes, you better recognize that I’m good too, because anyone talking shit about me, I make them respect me. That’s why BRADDOCK went after me on Shockwave. That’s why SYNN went after me when she made her comeback too. That’s why I’m always the one in the crosshairs.
-Donnie’s Berserk timer runs out, and he switches to the Ballista, or Gauss Cannon, and he turns around and blasts a Pinky into meaty chunks.-
)Donnie Harris(
Because everyone knows who the real danger is in the Danger Zone. Because everyone recognizes that, by getting through The Eliminator, the world title is a very good possibility. But I’m looking at you, Damage, and I see nothing of what Marcus Welsh saw in you. I see nothing that says OCW World Champion. Washed up, purposeless, pointless: the fact that you’re on this roster and in MY cage sickens me, and I’ll make sure to clean up the mess Britlyn sent me in to clean up. Then again, it’s not like she is sending me in to do anything, Damage. It’s just your misfortune that you are facing me.
-Donnie starts to scour the room for secrets, but he doesn’t find anything except a few health and ammo pickups. Considering what he finds in the next room, it was necessary, as a cutscene starts and Donnie smiles, looking at the Marauder. As the cutscene plays, Donnie continues to talk to the camera.-
)Donnie Harris(
Well, look at that; it’s you, Damage: a demon in the way of my progression. If it’s not in this video game, it’s in real life, and real life is so much stranger than this fictional world. What you think you are, what you think you can be, what you think you will be: none of it matters when you face yourself, and I have yet to find a proper challenge outside of my own mind, because it’s my mind that gets in my way. However, that’s why I study, that’s why I plan; that’s why I kick ass.
-The combat starts and the Marauder immediately goes on the attack, as Donnie pulls the Super Shotgun out and blasts at the Marauder, avoiding its counterattack by hitting it when its eyes flash green: a literal green light to strike.-
)Donnie Harris(
It takes planning and purpose to learn one’s opponent, to see the opponent’s weaknesses as I’ve seen yours. You’re just a big lug who, while resistant to taking a hit, can’t be bothered to focus. You’re the opposite of this boss-tier enemy.
-Donnie strafes some more, the avatar of his body taking a hard hit from a minion the Marauder had summoned; a Chainsaw attack later and Donnie’s ammo pool is restocked, but the health will have to wait. Thankfully, Donnie had filled his armor pool prior to the room as well.-
)Donnie Harris(
Of course you’re going to get a few shots in; it wouldn’t be a competitive match if I didn’t allow you some form of offense, but, luckily for me, I can use this as a bit of cardio too, and boy, I do love a little fun cardio. This makes laser tag feel ungainly and boring. And, like being in the cage in the Danger Zone in a little more than a day, you’ll be in my boss arena, in the boss fight that will prove whether or not you deserve the Rebellion title. Hell, if Colossus doesn’t try anything stupid while I’m kicking your ass, I’ll show him too why he’s no longer a champion at all. By the end, nothing you do, say or desire will matter.
-The rest of the boss fight plays out, with Donnie barely ahead of the Marauder, but, about a minute or so later, the enemy goes down. Donnie collects the drops, mostly health, armor and ammo due to the triggered Glory Kill mechanic, and moves into a portal, signifying the end of the level. After the level conclusion cinematic and etc. ends, Donnie is back in the hub area, where the levels can be selected from. Donnie enters a menu, and it shows that he has all the items required for a special weapon, buried in the bowels of the hub.-
)Donnie Harris(
Damage, you’re a champion, and I acknowledge that, but I am the one carrying the BFG in this scenario, and you’re walking into trouble. Because you’re facing me, not John Blaze, not just some other random person recruited from another company; I am an EPW original. I was here among the Outcasts because we are cool like that.
-As Donnie moves through the hub, it is quiet and there isn't much going on, but that is until he approaches a locked door, which he opens with an ornate metal key. The door swings open as he approaches a computer console, a weapon locked behind a force field.-
)Donnie Harris(
If the Rebellion title was on the line, Damage, I would be your undoing, your ending, the reason why you can never be seen as a main event guy anymore. Damage, in the Danger Zone, in that cage, in the main event in Indianapolis, Indiana, I will be your Unmaykr.
-Donnie depresses a spherical button on the console and collects the final gun in the game as the cinematic fades to black, along with the rest of the scene.-
