THE NEW ERA BEGINS
THE ROAD TO REVIVAL
Opening Contest:
GOTH vs. "RINGMASTER" JOHN BLAZE
REVIVAL QUALIFIER
—Winner gets put into 8-Person Revival Title Match (Money In The Bank) at REVIVAL
1 rp each, 2500 words
--Goth is returning after his bloody draw with Saynt at Shockwave. He has been a staple of the EPW community since Day 1 (the OCW days), and will kick off the road to Revival against tough as nails newcomer, John Blaze. Blaze won the Rebellion Title in his second ever match and held onto it until Shockwave when he was defeated by Damage. Both of these men deserve to be a champion, but the supply doesn't meet the demand. The winner here will have a chance to be put into the Revival Title match at REVIVAL for a chance to have their Money in the Bank, so to speak, and potentially cash in for a shot at the title of their choosing.
Match 2:
Blake Anderson (w/The Dynasty) vs. Barney Green
Anything Goes. No Rules. Just Fight.
1 rp each, 2000 word w/500 word buffer
--Barney Green makes his return to EPW and he did so in a typical "Barney Green" way last week, participating in a bar fight at a local watering hole. Blake Anderson loves to fight more than he loves to breathe, and has become the gatekeeper of sorts for the EPW. These two hardcore legends get to battle it out to see who really is the toughest S.O.B in EPW. This one will not be for the weak at heart.
Match 3:
The Farmhands vs. The Southwest Brotherhood
Tag Match
RP Options:
(EITHER OR)
1 PER TEAM: 3000 words.
2 RP (1 for each team member separately), 1500 words.
--The Farmhands won their three-team tag match at Shockwave, and locked in their spot to compete for the first ever EPW Tag Team Titles at REVIVAL. One of their potential opponents could be the vastly underrated team of the Southwest Brotherhood: Adam Gatner and Apollo Nighthawk. Will Brit's new personal security team prove they are the top team in EPW, or will TSB steal one and prove that perhaps they are the team that should face the Farmhands at Revival?
Match 4:
Damage(c) vs. Morbid Wolf
NON-TITLE
If Damage wins the final match vs. Colossus at Revival is NON TITLE.
If Morbid wins, the match at Revival is for the Rebellion Title AND Morbid gets added to the Revival Title Match (Money in the Bank) at REVIVAL.
1 RP, 3000 words
--Damage has been on a roll as of late, and now finds himself in the upper-mid card as the Rebellion Champion. His rivalry with Colossus has reached a fever pitch and with management trying to keep those two separated, they decided to make their individual matches until the Pay Per View mean something. Damage doesn't want lose his belt, but if he loses this match it is a real possibility as the match against Colossus at REVIVAL will be for the Rebellion Title. If he wins, he doesn't have to worry about putting the title on the line. There is something in it for Morbid as well. Not just scoring a big win over a champion in his first mach here, but the grizzled veteran can be entered into the Revival Title Match at REVIVAL with a win here. Things are certainly getting interesting around here.
BRADDOCK CONTRACT SIGNING
--Braddock returns to EPW after having to forfeit the World Title due to 'injury'. He for sure will have something to say as he made it clear he wants his World Title (that he never lost) back. Will he re-sign with EPW or tell Brit to stick it, kinda like she did to him?
**DUE TO RECENT TURBULENCE BETWEEN THE TWO, DONNIE HARRIS IS BANNED FROM INTERFERING. IF DONNIE GETS INVOLVED IN THE SIGNING, HE WILL BE STRIPPED OF HIS TITLE SHOT AT REVIVAL AND IT WILL BE AWARDED TO BRADDOCK*
--Can Donnie control himself after the recent attacks by Braddock on him? His resolve will be tested.
Match 5:
Hunter Valentyne vs. Colossus
If Colossus wins he gets to pick the stipulation for final match vs. Damage at Revival.
If Hunter wins, the match at Revival between Damage and Colossus stipulation is decided by management, AND Hunter gets added to the Revival Title Match (Money in the Bank) at REVIVAL.
1 RP Each, 3000 words
--Colossus has lost his way, lately. The once unstoppable monster has been all out of sorts without his manager and mouthpiece, Dick Trickle. Dick was kidnapped by Damage and has become his personal servant. Colossus tried to rescue him to no avail on the last Danger, and now has to come to the ring without guidance or direction again. Does that make him more vulnerable, or more dangerous? Either way, there is a lot on the line. If Colossus can pull a win over a very talented Hunter Valentyne, he will get to choose the stipulation for his final showdown with Damage. If he loses, again, he is at management's mercy. There is something in it for Morbid as well. Not just scoring a big win over a champion in his first mach here, but the grizzled veteran can be entered into the Revival Title Match at REVIVAL with a win here. Can the big man show Damage that he doesn't need Dick afterall?
Match 6:
Clyde Newton(c) vs. Alexander Davenport (c)
CHAMPION vs. CHAMPION
Battle for EPW Bragging Rights
2 RP each, 3500 words
--Clyde Newton came out to open Danger last show, and put the entire company on notice. He is the World Champion for a reason, and he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He survived a hellacious Triple Threat at Shockwave versus Donnie Harris and Synn (albeit with a little help from Braddock), and now is on a collision course with Donnie Harris (the number one contender) for REVIVAL's main event. Alexander Davenport has been on a roll lately as well, picking up the RISE UP title after an impromptu match made by his girlfriend (and Brit's younger sister) Jolie Vexx. He had a hard fought and emotional match against Alexandra Calaway at Shockwave in what may are billing as the match of the night, but ultimately came up short. After defeating Easton Alexander and forcing an early retirement on the last Danger, he took possession of Easton's now vacated Anarchy Title. He comes to the ring holding two belts (only one of which is his), and has a point to prove as he tries to make his case for being the company's top champion. Davenport gets to choose who he defends the RISE UP title against at Shockwave, but on this show Brit wanted to show her sister that she is still the boss.
Match 7:
DONNIE HARRIS vs. JE$TYR SERYOU$
Asylum Match
A variation to the steel cage match where weapons are suspended above the cage and escaping the cage is not a means of victory, leaving only pinfall or submission.
2 RP Each, 3000 words
--Jestyr scored a massive win over Colossus last show, and secured his spot in the Revival Title Match (Money In The Bank) at REVIVAL. He has been in a warpath to get his title back, even issuing an ultimatum to Brit before the last show, which went ignored. However, that doesn't mean she didn't hear it. Brit doesn't negotiate with terrorists and will not be told what to do in her own company. So, he wants to prove he deserves to be champ after a lengthy hiatus? He gets to face the World Title #1 contender, Donnie Harris. On the flipside, Donnie has been red hot lately as he rolls towards the match of his life and to put Jestyr down to score some brownie points with the boss is something he's more than willing to do. This match will be brutal, and may shorten the careers of both competitors. Brit just hopes they beat the hell out of each other so she can focus on more pressing matters, like getting her Anarchy Title back.
Match 8:
TEN-WOMAN BATTLE ROYAL
The Winner Will Face Alexandra Calaway for the EPW FIGHT4 Title at REVIVAL
Alexandra Calaway as special guest commentator
SYNN as special ref/enforcer
Khloe Cox vs. Sabrina vs. Tressa Smyles vs. Eleni Argyros vs. Sarah Hendricks vs. Belladonna Anderson vs. Saynt vs. Karli Gomez vs. Emma May vs. Alessia Capello
RP: 1 per competitor at 1500 word w/ 500 word buffer, if needed.
--LADIES! It's your time to shine! Some of the women in this match have been tearing it up lately, and some are new to the company. With such a short time until the biggest show of the year, singles matches just won't cut it. These ladies all have a chance to go head to head with perhaps the most famous lady of them all, the nearly two decade veteran Alexandra Calaway. Which of these ladies will have what it takes to survive and face the legend for the Fight4 title in Tampa?
*NOTE: Khloe Cox won her match last week, which was a Revival Qualifier. If she does not win this match, she still has her spot in that one. If Khloe DOES win, then her spot in the Revival Title Match will be vacated and she will face Calaway for the Anarchy Title instead.*
THE ROAD TO REVIVAL STARTS NOW
