Yeah I know I could've went with a different topic. You know stuff like "leader of the pack" with a reference to the movie Grease or did some dancing reference or even a program.
A live camera is recording and is focused on a door with the name “THE DYNASTY” stuck to the door. The cameraman reaches for the handle and suddenly the screen begins to static and a door, dressed with different colored leaves and is in other words camouflaged with a fitted netting, is quickly seen before returning to original view. Sitting in a single chair is Paul Sinclair. Confused possibly is the cameraman but he records and Paul starts speaking.
“You know the one thing I like about coming here to The Smoothie King Center, I don’t know if they still have it or maybe it comes out every time we’re around but this Tribal Thirst I think it is or Tribal Quench, it’s Tribal something so I don’t know maybe it’s me who finds something in that. But anyway, tonight all you EPW fans will get to witness The Dynasty in action. See, Kevin Hunter, tonight you’re going to find out just why The Dynasty is the top faction around here and just why we have been on top of this place for quite a while.
After AJ and Tama lost to the champions, there's no disrespect there, that's why they’re the champions, but it wasn’t for the title. See, that’s what people don’t realize. It wasn’t the fact that they were going in to win or lose the match, see, we’re not stupid like you. We know when to pick our shots and we wanted to see just what The Farmhands were about and now that we do, it’s only a matter of time until those titles are ours. And when Tama and AJ take out Michael and Sam, we’ll be right back where we need to be.
But Kevin, as for you, you have the unfortunate opportunity to face the leader of all of this. Sure the winner goes on and qualifies for the Revival title at….this sounds stupid but at Revival. You’re winning the title at the event it’s named after? Well, we never said Britlyn was smart. But look, speaking of Britlyn, I’ve got some business to take care of so I’m going to leave you here with Blake and I’m going to go find AJ and Tama and hopefully they haven’t beaten up those extras standing around backstage. (He looks over at Blake). Here you go, have my seat”. (Blake leans in and whispers something to Paul and he quickly leaves).
The screen then begins to static as a symbol randomly appears of a red circle with a white painted left hand palm print appears through the flickering.
“First let me say something, I’ve been getting calls and text and emails that there’s something happening in our videos. I went back and watched and was thinking how this could be done because I mean clearly you’re not doing it. Just by looking at you, you don’t look that smart or even capable of doing something like that. What does it mean? Eh, who knows. What I do know is tonight I’m walking into one of the biggest matches of my career against a man who has his own faction and his own team and…(he stops) you stupid fuck. I’ve been on top of this company for a while now and then what did I do when I got bored? I got a team and we ran this company and now here you are wanting to dabble in our shadows.
I’m a businessman but I’m also a guy with a short fuse you don’t want to piss off and that’s exactly what you did because this match isn’t just two guys wanting to win but now it’s become who’s a better leader or even bigger than that but who’s the top group here. We’re gonna settle that but not just that, we get to see who’s going to move on and be in this Revival ladder match. Now I don’t know about you and really I don’t care but see, I’m a guy who will do anything and everything to make something happen and well, you just happen to be in the way so there’s only one thing left to do and that’s move you the easy way by beating you in the middle of the ring or the way I tend to like the best, the hard way and that’s after beating you make sure that you’re out of the way and seeing how it’s a habit of ours of putting people on the shelf for some time, just ask Mika (Attano). She might can recommend a place but too, maybe you can tell me what happened in the tag match between your guys and mine. Or were you too worried about our match knowing what I would do to you to even worry about your guys? See, I don’t have to worry about my guys because they don’t listen to me like that. We’re all on the same level but you, you’re the type that wants to take charge and stand above everyone else. You’re the guy that I was at one time but see, eventually, you find out that those who you step over to get to where you want to be you have to meet them again and after being tired of fighting to get to the top, you’re too tired to fight against everyone who comes after you so then you end up injured or losing something. That’s why we or shit even I haven’t tried to do anything until now and it’s time to hold that title.
When I got into this, I didn’t care who I danced with but you that’s different. Usually I’m the guy who takes a look around and sees who else is doing business but I didn’t do that because at the time, you weren't even a blip on the radar until management felt like you needed to be. Now maybe they want you out of the picture or maybe they want me out but see, I’ve dealt with them before and it’s not that easy to get rid of me or who I’m with. But forget all that, let's look at what this does to the winner. When I win, not only will The Dynasty be stronger than ever because we took down each member of a faction that the whole entire industry sees as a joke, but I’ll be a step closer to winning yet another title in this company. And what you’ll realize is that it’s not me but you have management to thank for that because they’ll be the ones who’s going to pay for your hospital stay and stamp your discharge papers.
Now I could continue and do some long word promo or go back to my computer and type up some laundry list of stuff I’d like to say and then memorize it and come out here and try to repeat it and maybe miss a few words but actually I don’t need any of that. No, the only thing I need is a microphone and a camera but the fact that management knows how much I like to talk and how in-depth I can go to tear apart anyone on this roster, they want to give me a limit. Just because I’ve played by the rules before doesn’t mean I listen to them. I make my own rules and it’s you who plays by them. That’s what a real leader does and those who follow, they understand the way but those who don’t, it’s those who pay. So tonight when I do what I'm supposed to a lead not just my team into victory, I'll also be leading you into defeat and then not just me but AJ and Tama too will be just one step closer to becoming champions".
He stops speaking and looks down at his watch and smiles as he knows the time is ticking down until Danger. With a deep sigh, he leans back and looks up at the ceiling. As he stretches, the camera begins to fade to a black screen and then cuts off.
