Good Luck
Note: In case i cant post the link to the doc, heres the text version:
Karli was now home from Paris with not only a new medal or two, but an old friend as a tag team partner. She was standing in Jenny’s game room, ready to tag with her long time friend. As they stand, it’s Karli that takes the lead.
“Been a while, hasn’t it y’all? Well, I’ve returned from Paris to find that the very pay per view I made my debut at, I could return with Jenny and win a tag title possibly, if, no when, we beat Dynasty.”
Jenny would now tag in for her first bit of dialogue. She had been waiting for the chance to win her first title outside of AIW, as her title in AWS didn’t count to her. She was basically a clean slate of achievements, which was not going to last long with the amount of talent she had.
“Sure you guys may have beaten The Perfs. But here’s the deal. They’re rookies. Karli is too but I am no rookie. So you’re gonna see what goes down when ya get two high flyers across from ya. It’ll be like a double dose of Aero the Acrobat. Good lord that game sucked."
Jenny would then continue on with her video game themed rant and comparison. She was a gamer and everyone knew it, she did after all have a friend make her gear in the theming of an NES, with her tights representing the deck and her top representing a controller. It even had a cartridge drawn in the cartridge slot on her tights.
“A lot like you two. Are you Action 52 NES levels of suck? I’d say so. You call yourselves Dynasty but what’s been done outside sucking yourselves off, that warrants it? I don’t go round calling myself the best ever when I’ve done nothing to warrant it. Sorry, it’s just fact. You’re not as a good as you say you are, boys.”
Karli on the other hand, in celebration of her success at the Olympics, was wearing red, white and blue, American flag themed gear. She was proud of what she had done there and wanted to share it with her fans as best she could. She also had her gold medal in floor exercise hanging around her neck for all to see.
“Now if we were talking about the Olympics, i can brag that I’m the best. Because I have the medals to prove it, at least in gymnastics. You two got no physical hardware to prove you’re a dynasty. So far as I go, your team name is fraudulent. But then again, I wouldn’t expect you to get that. But what you do get, I’ll give it to you, is how to wrestle. You two are some of the best to win the gold. But you’re not about to earn a chance by beating us.”
Once again, it was Jenny’s turn to go. And go she would. She wanted to drive home a point or two and was going to do just that as she spoke with conviction and confidence. She was that type of person.
“But here’s the deal. Gaming references aside, and believe me boys, I have plenty, you’re not beating us because you’re simply not good enough. And it will be proven soon enough boys. Because as sure as I wear braces and glasses, you’re not winning against us.”
And once again, Karli took over the promo. She wanted to make a quick point here before Jenny took over again. She had what she wanted to say, and now it was time to deliver it, like a package at Bath and Body Works, her favorite store.
“Just as sure as my favorite store is Bath and Body Works, and my favorite fragrance there is Perfect in Pink, you’re not winning. We just have all the tools that you don’t and that’s why we’re beating you. We just have more talent in one finger than you do in your whole body.”
With Karli’s confidence showing, Jenny took over again, before Karli’s confidence got both of them in trouble because they had known each other long enough to know when to switch off that confidence.
“But enough about that boys. The fact is y’all, that you’re comin’ in way over your heads. Jenny’s a veteran and I’m an Olympic gymnast. Do y’all really have the skills to top that? I think not.”
Karli finally realized the mistake she had made earlier and was going to correct it. But even with said correction coming, she was still confident as ever about her team’s chances to win this match and down the line, the titles as well.
“Oh wait, you boys are the tag team champs. I do apologize on behalf of us both. We forgot about that, honestly. I’ve been away for so long and basically unreachable because I was in Paris, that I feel so unprepared. But I’ve done what I could, boys. But trust us. We’re gonna be earnin’ that title shot. And then at And Justice for Brawl, we’re takin’ those belts from ya. But for now, we wish ya luck. You’re gonna need it.”
Jenny would again, step in, flipping her hair and showing her braces as she did. As she spoke, her own confidence rose. Jenny was usually very humble and soft spoken, while Karli didn’t know the word shut up. It showed anytime Karli was talking to anyone, really.
“This isn’t us being cocky. It’s telling the truth. We’re taking those belts soon. So keep them warm for us. Because once we earn that shot, and we will, those belts are coming back to Texas with us. Do whatever you can to stop us. We welcome it. But it’s game over for your title reign boys, and unlike Street Fighter 2’s arcade versions that you can pop a quarter in to undo the loss, it won’t work that way for you.”
It was now time for the knockout blow. And Karli was going to deliver it. As she does, Jenny and Karli produce NES Zappers.
“And I’ve shown since my debut just what kind of athlete I am. And I’m sure you all know how she saved my life. But for now, do what you can to prepare to lose to us, not once, but twice. Those titles are coming home very soon, and just be warned. You’ll never see them again when that happens. Good luck boys.”
Then then strike the Charlie’s Angels pose as they stand back to back with their zappers pointed upwards. And with that, both throw a kick at the camera, as the scene ends .
