Sitting on a stool next to three empty stools inside the locker room of The Dynasty is Paul Sinclair. In front of him is a stand where both tag team championship titles belonging to AJ and Tama are sitting. The look on his face, it’s a not so pleasant look as the camera in front of him began to record.
“Elevate Pro Wrestling, you know I remember stepping through these doors back when it was that other company and it was kids who were busting their asses to get noticed. Some were running up to me and Blake wanting to know how they can get in the business or a spot on the show. Somehow they would get in front of management and then they’d be in front of us again only that time it would be in the ring with Blake. He was the guy you had to get past and we didn’t give a damn what management thought, if we felt that you had what it took, then we’d give you a pass and not beat you up too much to where you’d be able to compete on the next show. Meaning you earned your way onto the roster.
So that happened and then led to his title reign but I think, I could be wrong, the reason why the title was taken off him is because it didn’t look good to have him lose to someone who hadn’t made a name for themselves yet. Then they got the nod and showed up on live TV but to Blake, holding a title back then didn’t mean what it does now. It’d be good to have all of The Dynasty holding a title but that’s who Blake is, that’s what he does is beat people up. You don’t cross him or you’ll get your receipt at the right time and there’s a few that will be getting their receipt soon. But speaking of soon, later tonight justice will be served.
But tonight isn’t about Blake or me but it’s about AJ and Tama and that’s putting these titles on the line in a triple threat tag match. So I’d be lying if I said I was in a good mood right now. Do I believe that they’ll retain the titles? Of course I do because I know they will do anything and everything to make sure that they walk out still tag champs. Speaking of doing anything, I want to talk about the two teams. Jenny and Karli, you cheated your way to this match so now we know what to expect. I told them time and time again to let nothing distract them in the ring when they’re working but you know how it is when you get in the ring and things happen, well, that’s exactly what happened and well you know that Karli and Jenny cheated to win but I could complain about it but a win is a win either way. The referee made the call and while it wasn’t the right one, you two managed to get the win over the champs and now here you are in a tag title match so the only good thing I will say to you two is congratulations but that’s all you get because now you two are going to get a beating like you never known.
So now let me move to the other team and that’s you Jmont and whoever your partner is. Now we’ve had our runaround and I’ve said stuff to you until I’m blue in the face and Blake has too and here you are now wanting to try your hand at these tag titles. So you’re going to find a partner and you two think that you can walk into this match and out as champions? Why? Just because you’re already holding one title? You’re holding that title because Blake got tired of carrying a title and he focused on just beating people up because he can. Now of course it’s not him but it’s Tama or AJ who will get the chance to take that title from you. Yeah I know there’s two others in the match but really they don’t matter. But let me speak bluntly here, Jmont you sorry piece of shit, you and any one of your alphabet family members want to come help you try and take these titles from my boys, you’re going to get your ass handed to you because you do know Blake has been training them and he knows you well. Your goal might be to become a tag champ but you also have to worry about somebody taking that title from you. If we have to leave you a bloody lifeless corpse in the ring, then that’s what we’ll do but we’re leaving tonight with that title and these titles still intact. Are we worried who your partner will be? No. See, AJ and Tama have been a team for years dating back to even before meeting me. But I know they haven’t met a team like you and whoever you choose to be your partner. Yeah, we’ve heard it all before but let me give you some reality. Management begged us to come here because they needed a tag team division and they basically fed us up every team they could and we ran through everyone. So look at this, could AJ walk out a double champion holding not just one of these tag titles but also your Rebellion title? Of course he could but then again so could Tama, he could also be a double champion holding one-half of the tag team championships and the Rebellion title.
Of course we want one of us to walk out still with the tag titles but also the Rebellion title but on the other hand, you have Jenny and Karli who want the same thing. As far as you, Jmont, nobody cares just as long as you don’t walk out with your title and really we could care less if you walk out at all. As far as whoever your partner will be, I don’t think anyone cares because all the people you’ve pissed off, maybe you won’t have one. If you do, I’m pretty sure that the only thing and I mean the only thing Jenny and Karli will have in common in this match is making sure you don’t win”.
Paul looks away from the camera and towards the door and motions for someone to “come in” and in walks AJ Prince who takes a seat in the chair Paul was in and begins speaking to the camera.
[AJ] “Are you sure you want me to come in now? I mean you know I’m the loudest out of all of us. I don’t know what all Paul has said because we all know he’s the more eloquent speaker of all of us but I know Paul and he probably put us over but let’s talk about who we’re not putting over and that’s what’s their names, Karli and Jenny. Look you two have yet to really get your feet wet around here and you want to jump into the deep end and think you two are ready for a title shot? Just because you beat us by cheating, you really think you deserve a shot at our titles?
You probably haven’t been in this business long but watched a lot of wrestling on TV so you knew about the champion being beaten in a non-title match which would give you a title shot. So I’ll give you that but then you throw in that jackass and now whatever partner he’s going to choose and they’re going to be our other opponents. So we’ve got to defend our titles against two teams but the thing I like too is what's his name (Paul leans over and tells him) Jmont also has his title on the line. So we will walk out not just the tag team champs but one of us will also be holding another title. Do I care who it is? No and neither does Tama.
I know you’re probably looking at us like there’s got to be some heat somewhere in the group but that’s the thing, we’ve been through hell together so none of this is new to us. We’ve fought each other and bled until we passed out but one thing is none of us ever give up. That’s what drew us together. You’ve got to know something and that what you see now, this all came from this man here (pointing at Paul) because he told us that he wanted a group that would come in and take over and that’s exactly what we’ve done”.
[Sinclair] “See, before they came in, there was no disruption. Everyone was fine playing it safe. It took us coming here to really put people on their toes and to worry about their place around here. Who was going to get jumped backstage? Who maybe would make it to their car either when they got to the building or after the show? Nobody knows now because we caused them to actually think instead of just being in a routine. So if there’s a match going on and it’s boring, the crowd don’t know any different because it’s entertaining to them but to us watching backstage, you’re boring so we’re going to come potato your asses because you suck. Management won’t do anything about it so we’ll take it on ourselves to show you what we think of you”.
[AJ] “Think of it like that time that Hunter guy had people walk out on him and it was just left to three guys. We’re your three guys, well, Paul could do one-man commentary. I think he knew a guy that did that”.
[Sinclair] “By the way, management, my offer still stands if you need someone to actually run this company like it’s supposed to be and not have all this….let me stop while I’m ahead because this isn’t about me, it’s about the current reigning and defending tag team champions..excuse me the EPW tag team champions”.
[AJ] “Thank you for that Paul but you’re right this place does need someone who knows what they’re doing and not so many people in the kitchen trying to run a ship when they’re past job was just flipping burgers. But let’s not get too lost on management because there’s two teams who we need to talk about and I’m only one guy so how about let’s get the other guy in here who’s got a say in this match too. Can you get him in here”?
[Sinclair] “I’m on it now (pulling out his cellphone, Paul texts Tama) he’ll be in here in a minute”.
[AJ] “Good, I mean I could easily cut a promo on everyone in this match but then there wouldn’t be anything left for Tama to do except cleanup work”.
[Sinclair] “He’s a good cleanup guy though don’t you think”?
[AJ] “You know who’s a good cleanup guy? That guy in that group, what’s their name”?
[Sinclair] “I know who you’re talking about, it was something Express”.
[AJ] “Yeah, that’s them. They were good but sucked that our friends went to that one Corporation place and forced them into retirement”.
[Sinclair] “Whoa, don’t want to break the fourth wall or whatever they’re calling it now. We might end up getting sued”. (He laughs).
Tama enters the room and sits down next to AJ on the last empty stool.
[AJ] “Glad you could join us”.
[Tama] “Did you text me? I just left Blake and Belladonna”.
[Sinclair] “Yeah, is your phone still messed up”?
[Tama] “Yeah, it fell out of my pocket when we jumped…”
[Sinclair] “Right, right, don’t say it out loud. They could be watching but hey, what about this tag match you two have. Any idea on who the mystery partner will be”?
[Tama] “Are we really doing this? (He lowers his head and laughs). Look, I don’t give a damn who Jmont gets as his partner. I told AJ when I heard about this but if Jmont wants to put his chances of winning our titles in the hands of a mystery partner, that’s his dumbass. As far as his title on the line, it doesn't matter who wins it between me and AJ. One of us will be a double champion and the other will still be tag champion. As for Karli and Jenny, you two bitches can get to the back of the line because I’m already pissed off at you two from the last time. You came in and won with your feet on the rope? I mean if you’re going to cheat then do it better than that.
You could’ve pulled the tights or secretly choked one of us out while you were in a small package or a pin, but really it had to be using the ropes? Yeah we didn’t have to cheat to win these titles but we didn’t get to where we are by playing fair either. But you did and we can’t be mad at that but what we can do is make examples of both of you. See, before you got here, we ran through every team they put in front of us. Now here it is time for us to defend our titles and who comes along? Somebody management hopes to take our titles away because we took it from management’s joke of a security team. So what way can they get us back? To make this a triple threat tag team match for our titles. That whole Jmont thing, it is what it is so like it was said whichever of us wins it then we win it. Maybe we can give it to Blake”.
[AJ] “And he’ll throw it back at you too. You know what we said about titles”.
[Sinclair] “I know what you guys said but holding titles mean something here. I know I knock management and give them shit but we've been in these situations before where nobody knows what they’re doing but at least we do. So if we have to be flag bearers then let’s do that. At least we know these titles will mean something. I’m not saying the kissing babies and all that, but showing EPW what we can do when nothing else is going right, we’re taking the tag titles and actually doing something productive.
Who knows if we’ll get Blake to change his mind about a title but management wants to use him as a guard dog and that’s fine because that’s what he loves. He’s a fighter and nothing is going to stop him from being that and I’m not going to stop him. He’s a new dad too so I’ll let him do him and then when he comes around to us, it’s like we all did before like we never split. But I know I keep getting off on other stuff but tonight is all about you two walking out with three belts. I know you don’t care how it gets done as long as it gets done”.
[Tama] “Paul, tonight how about we do this, we walk out with our titles and we’ll have you carry the Rebellion title? I mean if it’s mine or AJ’s, you’re the guy who will carry it”.
[AJ] “Yeah, why not, Paul? You’re the guy who brought us here and look what you did for us? You got us to the tag team championships and what better way to repay you than for you to carry a title too”.
[Sinclair] “Guys I’m flattered but you did this on your own, I just pointed you in the direction. As far as the Rebellion title, I’m honored that you’d think of me but Blake is the one who should carry it. Actually, isn't there some kind of Freebird rule? I’ll have to look it up but if so then technically Blake is 1/3rd of the tag team champions and soon to be 1/3rd of the Rebellion champion”.
[Tama] “You know, I like the sound of that. What about you”?
[AJ] “That’s good with me. Should we talk with management”?
[Sinclair] “Something tells me that they’ll find out when it happens but if we’re the champs, who says we can’t? We’ll be the ones holding the titles so we can make our own rules. There I go again saying we when it’s you two”.
[AJ] “Paul, it’s we because we are The Dynasty and there’s no Dynasty without you and Blake so if we’re tag champions then we’re all tag champions and after tonight, we’ll add Rebellion champion to that”.
[Tama] “Look cameraman, you know we’re just sitting here bullshitting but when it all comes down to tonight, we don’t really fucking care who wins between me or AJ. We’re walking in the tag team champions and walking out the tag team champions regardless if it’s by winning fair or not. Nobody will be left standing when we’re done because we’re tired of this shit. So if we have to inflict pain then that’s what we’ll do. If we have to turn TD Garden or hell Boston itself upside down then that’s what we’ll do”.
[Sinclair] “This building is historic for many reasons and tonight it’ll become the place where two historic things happened in the same match. I think this is the first time that there would be a double champion in this company. I was sitting back while they were talking and thinking about different scenarios about tonight. After AJ and Tama successfully defend their titles and then also end up winning the Rebellion title and if the Freebird rule is still in effect, Blake, Tama or AJ could defend the Rebellion title as well as any one of them could defend the tag team championship. Boy you know it would seem like a lot if you know how you’re playing a game and your character has a handler and he’s controlling a whole team? The pressure on that person especially if one or all of them are holding a title and not sure when they would have to defend that title”.
[Tama] “It’s really not that much pressure if you think about it unless they’re having to defend all the titles in one night. Like say when we win tonight and we keep our tag titles and bring the Rebellion title here, say we had a handler that means he’d have to see who from us is booked and he’d be working two or three times in one night if he controlled all of us like it was a game. Nothing against you Paul but there’s Blake, me and AJ and then throwing in titles that you'd think would change the difficulty level”.
[AJ] “Man shut up (he laughs) you over here using big words again like you want people to know you care. We all know all we care about is hurting people”.
[Tama] (laughing) “Yeah you’re right”.
[AJ] “Speaking of Blake, is he gonna be here tonight”?
[Tama] “When I talked to him he said he might be so we’ll see. I told him now he’s gonna be booked more because he’s gonna need the money to take care of a baby now”.
[Sinclair] “Well guys we’ve got time before tonight starts so let’s go get something to eat. We’ve got a few hours until we have to be back for tonight”.
[AJ] “Sounds like a plan”.
Tama nods his head and the trio look at the cameraman and Paul speaks up.
[Sinclair] “As for you, I think I got something for you”.
Paul reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone and starts to text someone. Seconds later he gets a reply back and a smile comes across his face. He then looks at the camera.
[Sinclair] “I was right so you come with us” He looks at AJ and Tama. “He’ll meet us there”.
They all stand up as the camera cuts to a black screen and then turns off.

Sitting in a chair at a round table is the other member of The Dynasty, Blake Anderson, who was absent moments earlier. He’s on his phone as the rest of the group meet him along with the cameraman who had left the room with them. As they all start to take a seat, Blake hangs up the phone and the cameraman turns his camera on and starts to record.
[B. Anderson] “So Tama, AJ, you guys ready for tonight”?
[AJ “You know me, I’m always ready”.
[Tama] (laughing) Yeah man, we know you’re always ready. My question is are the other teams ready, you feel me”?
[B. Anderson] “I get that but you gotta have eyes in the back of your heads tonight. I know what it means to be out-numbered and feel like everyone’s against you because you’re the champs so tonight everyone will be. You know what happened last time so don’t put anything past Karlie and Jenny and with Jmont, hell, I wish I was in there for that punk. But look, we don’t know who his partner is but we know what he’s about so just go out there and do what needs to be done and take that title from him”.
[AJ] “I can promise you he’s going to have to do everything and more to keep that title”.
[B. Anderson] “Paul, you know where I’m about to go with this but this is what I want to see from these two tonight”.

It could be (tilting his head looking at the camera) this cameraman or someone we saw before team with him. He’s a new dad too so I’ll let him do him and then when he comes around to us, it’s like we all did before like we never split. But I know I keep getting off on other stuff but tonight is all about you two walking out with three belts. I know you don’t care how it gets done as long as it gets done”.
[Tama] “Paul, tonight how about we do this, we walk out with our titles and we’ll have you carry the Rebellion title? I mean if it’s mine or AJ’s, you’re the guy who will carry it”.
[AJ] “Yeah, why not, Paul? You’re the guy who brought us here and look what you did for us? You got us to the tag team championships and what better way to repay you than for you to carry a title too”.
[Sinclair] “Guys I’m flattered but you did this on your own, I just pointed you in the direction. As far as the Rebellion title, I’m honored that you’d think of me but Blake is the one who should carry it. Actually, isn't there some kind of Freebird rule? I’ll have to look it up but if so then technically Blake is 1/3rd of the tag team champions and soon to be 1/3rd of the Rebellion champion”.
[Tama] “You know, I like the sound of that. What about you”?
[AJ] “That’s good with me. Should we talk with management”?
[Sinclair] “Something tells me that they’ll find out when it happens but if we’re the champs, who says we can’t? We’ll be the ones holding the titles so we can make our own rules. There I go again saying we when it’s you two”.
[AJ] “Paul, it’s we because we are The Dynasty and there’s no Dynasty without you and Blake so if we’re tag champions then we’re all tag champions and after tonight, we’ll add Rebellion champion to that”.
[Tama] “Look cameraman, you know we’re just sitting here bullshitting but when it all comes down to tonight, we don’t really fucking care who wins between me or AJ. We’re walking in the tag team champions and walking out the tag team champions regardless if it’s by winning fair or not. Nobody will be left standing when we’re done because we’re tired of this shit. So if we have to inflict pain then that’s what we’ll do. If we have to turn TD Garden or hell Boston itself upside down then that’s what we’ll do”.
[Sinclair] “This building is historic for many reasons and tonight it’ll become the place where two historic things happened in the same match. I think this is the first time that there would be a double champion in this company. I was sitting back while they were talking and thinking about different scenarios about tonight. After AJ and Tama successfully defend their titles and then also end up winning the Rebellion title and if the Freebird rule is still in effect, Blake, Tama or AJ could defend the Rebellion title as well as any one of them could defend the tag team championship. Boy you know it would seem like a lot if you know how you’re playing a game and your character has a handler and he’s controlling a whole team? The pressure on that person especially if one or all of them are holding a title and not sure when they would have to defend that title”.
[Tama] “It’s really not that much pressure if you think about it unless they’re having to defend all the titles in one night. Like say when we win tonight and we keep our tag titles and bring the Rebellion title here, say we had a handler that means he’d have to see who from us is booked and he’d be working two or three times in one night if he controlled all of us like it was a game. Nothing against you Paul but there’s Blake, me and AJ and then throwing in titles that you'd think would change the difficulty level”.
[AJ] “Man shut up (he laughs) you over here using big words again like you want people to know you care. We all know all we care about is hurting people”.
[Tama] (laughing) “Yeah you’re right”.
[AJ] “Speaking of Blake, is he gonna be here tonight”?
[Tama] “When I talked to him he said he might be so we’ll see. I told him now he’s gonna be booked more because he’s gonna need the money to take care of a baby now”.
[Sinclair] “Well guys we’ve got time before tonight starts so let’s go get something to eat. We’ve got a few hours until we have to be back for tonight”.
[AJ] “Sounds like a plan”.
Tama nods his head and the trio look at the cameraman and Paul speaks up.
[Sinclair] “As for you, I think I got something for you”.
Paul reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone and starts to text someone. Seconds later he gets a reply back and a smile comes across his face. He then looks at the camera.
[Sinclair] “I was right so you come with us” He looks at AJ and Tama. “He’ll meet us there”.
They all stand up as the camera cuts to a black screen and then turns off.

Sitting in a chair at a round table is the other member of The Dynasty, Blake Anderson, who was absent moments earlier. He’s on his phone as the rest of the group meet him along with the cameraman who had left the room with them. As they all start to take a seat, Blake hangs up the phone and the cameraman turns his camera on and starts to record.
[B. Anderson] “So Tama, AJ, you guys ready for tonight”?
[AJ “You know me, I’m always ready”.
[Tama] (laughing) Yeah man, we know you’re always ready. My question is are the other teams ready, you feel me”?
[B. Anderson] “I get that but you gotta have eyes in the back of your heads tonight. I know what it means to be out-numbered and feel like everyone’s against you because you’re the champs so tonight everyone will be. You know what happened last time so don’t put anything past Karlie and Jenny and with Jmont, hell, I wish I was in there for that punk. But look, we don’t know who his partner is but we know what he’s about so just go out there and do what needs to be done and take that title from him”.
[AJ] “I can promise you he’s going to have to do everything and more to keep that title”.
[B. Anderson] “Paul, you know where I’m about to go with this but this is what I want to see from these two tonight”.
[Sinclair] “Are you sure you want them to do that”?
[Tama] “Are you saying what I think you are”? (Blake grins).
[AJ] “Aw c’mon”! (He laughs). “You think we’re going to get disqualified to keep our titles? That means Jmont keeps his, hell no! But seriously, who do you think this partner is”?
[Sinclair] “It doesn’t matter at this point who his partner is or if he even has one and all of this is some new order scenario. It could be (tilting his head looking at the camera) this cameraman or someone we saw before team with him. It doesn’t matter because you’re going to be ready for anything and not let anything get in your way of what the goal is for tonight, go out there and win. Don’t do it for us but do it for you. You earned those titles and now you have to defend them with your life. Everyone is going to be coming after you because you have what they want and management will do anything to throw a curveball at us because we took something they had.
If you have to make them bleed, you do that. Tonight, nobody will ever doubt us".
