Karli Rae and Jenny Kay. Trainee and Teacher that were also very close friends. They could be seen walking their local mall, just before a press conference. As the conference starts, Jenny and Karli take their places at the conference table.
Jenny Kay: Welcome everyone to the pre “And Justice For Brawl” press conference. She’s Karli Rae, and I am Jenny Kay. Let’s get right to your questions, everyone! Um….let’s see. You in front.
Jenny points out someone wearing one of her pieces of merchandise. He then stands up and asks his question as Jenny smiles, showing her braces, and Karli adjusts her glasses.
Jason Bradley: Over the last few months, we’ve seen you two bond a lot. What is the relationship between you, outside student and teacher? It’s well known that Karli is your student.
Karli just got thicker glasses, as her eyesight was starting to leave her. She was told by her eye doctor that she’d have to wrestle in her glasses, which was fine with her. She needed to be able to see after all. She then responds to the question Jason asked.
Karli Rae: We’re actually very close friends. We’re travel buddies and we room together. But it’s more than that. As you all know, I legit tried to end it all many months back and Jenny saved me. I feel indebted to her for this. But enough about me. Let’s get to talking about this match!
And then Karli would point out someone with blonde hair and glasses that was wearing one of her shirts, and smiled. She then listens to the question at hand.
Lilly Jackson: We all heard what Dynasty had to say. What’s your take on them claiming you don’t matter?
Jenny just laughs it off as she thinks of a way of replying. Once she has it, she adjusts her glasses, which were hanging off a chain, around the back of her head, as she moves her blonde hair out of her face.
Jenny Kay: It’s honestly hilarious. We just beat them, yet we don’t matter? Hell even those mean girl wannabes, the Perfs have beaten them and yet we dont matter? Come on now. We wouldn’t be in this match if we didn’t matter. And honestly, we’re here for what’s around your waist right now, Dynasty.
At that point, a very pretty young lady, with red hair and tanned skin would stand up. As she is handed a mic, she speaks, asking her question, with a smile on her face.
Carlie Harrison: You two have defeated Dynasty multiple times, while they act like it’s a fluke. What are your thoughts on these two acting like this as champions?
Karli would tag in here. She wanted to make a few things clear about the team and these were things people weren’t aware of. But they would be very soon.
Karli Rae: We don’t operate on flukes. What’s obvious to us is they really don’t care about making those titles the best and most prestigious they can be. While we do. What they’re dealing with here is literally the smartest woman in the world, and one of wrestling’s most talented female wrestlers, in Jenny, and a multi time olympic gold medalist in gymnastics, with me, and a star on the rise. People look at her glasses and braces and my glasses and think we’re nerds that can’t wrestle. Yes, we are nerds. But we can wrestle. And we’ve shown that any time we’re called upon to do so.
Jamarcus Mariott: The Rebellion title is on the line as well. J Mont has no partner. Do you have any concerns as to who he could choose? If you win, who do you think will get to carry the Rebellion title?
Karli would then answer in the most respectful tone possible, as she was taught respect at a young age. She was respectful to everyone until they upset her, which was hard to do. So the respect was there.
Karli Rae: Well, we’ve discussed this, Mr. Marriott, and we agreed that I will be carrying the Rebellion belt. So our plan is to make sure I get the pin. She’s okay with this and honestly, our bond is stronger than any title. So that’s not going to tear us apart.
Jamarcus decided to ask one side question. As he raises his mic, he speaks, kind of wondering how to phrase this. He finally has it and speaks.
Jamarcus Mariott: You two seem like very sweet ladies. And knowing that both of you are gay, why aren’t you a couple? You’d be a cute couple.
Karli blushed as Jenny took over. While she did have a small crush on Jenny, she knew better than to ask her out as she herself was engaged, while Jenny was married and had a nine year old step daughter. But they were both very attractive ladies.
Jenny Kay: Simply, because neither of us are single. I’m married, and she’s engaged. But that’s the simple and really only answer. I can tell you have another question. Let’s hear it.
Jenny then sights an African american male, about six feet tall, and bald. He was handed a mic and was about to ask his question. Jenny would then add her two cents on the matter. She had a lot to say on it, and funny enough, it was usually Jenny that wouldn’t shut up. But it gave the team and Jenny more character in that respect.
Jenny Kay: Exactly, and the fact that we’ve known each other since elementary school, our friendship is too strong to be torn apart by wrestling. Yes, friendships can end this way, but not ours. We’ve done things to make sure it doesn’t ever happen. We’ve bonded over gaming and other things. And we can promise our fans the best match possible, which is something we always do. As for J Mont? We dont care who he gets. But we think he’s gonna have to go it on his own, which guarantees a loss. How often does one person beat two, much less two teams of two?
At that point, a yong lady with black hair, wearing glasses and braces herself, would be handed a mic as Karli would point her out and allow her to speak herself.
Larissa Harris: Well, I guess I get final question. I love that you girls represent the nerds. The fact that I have braces and glasses, like Jenny does, and have someone to look up to, thats awesome. You girls are really someone that everyone in our lifestyle can look up to. But with that said, Jenny, you have been in this business since 2015 yet have only one tag title elsewhere. Why no singles titles?
Jenny would take this question. She had an answer and just wanted to take the question but wondered how to word this. She thinks for a second then responds.
Jenny Kay: Well, I guess it’s because I was mostly a tag wrestler. Technically I’m a former one time world champion in a promotion but due to how it ended, we don’t talk about that. To answer you, I really don’t know. I’m talented enough and I know that I will get my first bit of solo gold soon.
Karli would tag in one final time, to wrap this up as the two had appointments with their dentist and Jenny had an eye appointment to get to. Karli was actually thinking of getting contacts, to wrestle in, thought she would still enter the ring and do promos in her glasses, being they were a well known part of her look. She then speaks, moving her own blonde hair out of the way of her glasses.
Karli Rae: Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for coming out everyone. Make sure to come out and watch us take our first bit of gold as a team. Oh and I’ll be having Thousand Foot Krutch play us to the ring as they perform my new theme song! But thanks for coming out, and we will see y’all soon! Bye now!
Jenny and Karli then walk off the stage and begin talking with fans and signing autographs. At that point the screen fades off with the two walking back into the mall to get to their appointments.
